More fun than watching Primus is: Watching you while you are watching Primus. 😁 I’m not unhappy being a little 5 feet 2 person. But when I watch Les Claypool dancing I always want to have long legs.

I was at Woodstock '94. It rained the whole time. Mud everywhere. It was inescapable.

One of the best things I ever heard, the guitar player Larry was taught by Joe satriani and he said that Larry was his favorite student because he took everything he learned and doesn't use a bit of it

There was a Hendrix tribute solo in the middle of this performance, but the original uploader cut it out for unfathomable reasons. Oh well This whole set was legendary. It had just rained, so the field turned to mud, and it turned into a big mess. When Primus performed "My Name Is Mud" a few songs later, a big mudfight broke out and they had to stop the song because they were getting pelted on stage lmao

It's a shame that most videos of this performance have been edited. I was there and Les, in a tribute to Hendrix in 69, broke into his rendition of The Star Spangled Banner in the middle of this song.

Woodstock 94' was infamous for the mud problem. Something happened, mud everywhere... it was an issue. Ans he's not really singing about anything but deep south Americana in it's most ridiculous and preposterous. The words aren't important, usually. Check out some lyrics while you watch these if you want, but it's mostly about the music.
