2023 ...im still watching Prince ...A masterful musician... Him hiring John Blackwell on drums , was the most masterful stroke i'd say ...John was a beast on drums ... RIP both Prince & John
Yup George was all happy 😄 he probably was a big fan just like most us Mexicans we LOVED Prince! I don't know any Mexican American that did not have Prince's songs playing at parties 😂 George Lopez I guarantee was one of them lol
@@bmwjourdandunngoddess6024 it has nothing to do with being Mexican American people just like his music like George Lopez is a big fan of rock so that's why he was so excited
It breaks my heart to have lost such a talent. So many lost in the last few years and it seemed as if they'd be here forever, untouchable of tragedy and death. His talent was unlimited. I was so amazed at his ability to make music, so much talent in one human. The world lost a great man. Rest in peace Prince
Slick Sylba yes he was incredibly beautiful. His face, what a beautiful face. I luv how humble he was..the more he listened and understood the more he learned about life, the better he became. He was like a fine wine💜💜
@@artfull334 right? I remember when I was really young, I was so obessed with Prince. Still love em, he was odd that it was kool. That's why I became odd when it comes to style because of him. Hard to believe that he's gone, fuck drugs... it took my Prince's life.
Slick Sylba yes it’s so easy to be obsessed by Prince😂😂I admit I’m obsessed😆 I wasn’t always..I always thought he was great but I took him for granted, I thought he was going to be around until an old man. I’ve only seen him live twice and I have big regrets about not seeing him more. Yeah I totally get that he inspired you with his eccentricity..there’s nothing cool about normal, Prince was beautiful strange💜💜
Christopher Downes Your out your freaking mind if you really think people like Prince and Michael Jackson are really dead! Come on.. think! lol. People that rich don't die, especially how they died. PRINCE AND MICHAEL JACKSON I KNOW YOUR OUT THERE! I hope your enjoying your rest away from this crazy fan culture. Some of us know and have brains;-) Godbless
I remember watching this when it originally aired. You couldn’t have convinced me then that we were going to loose this man just 5 short years later. I thought he’d outlive all of us and our kids 😂 I miss you, Prince. Life just hasn’t been the same since you’ve been gone. The world lost a lot of funk and a lot of soul the day you died.
George is an amazing man for other reasons and the fact that he helped Prince's family financially when he died! George is the definition of generosity. Rip Prince. We love you!
In 1983 I had Prince & Michael Jackson ALL OVER my bedroom wall. I was a Sophomore in high school. 1999 & Thriller were both out at the same time !!! Omg life was so good.... so good.
I'm a guy, but I admit. I like looking and listening to Prince. Just that soft spoken deep voice, his eyes, and that smile. He's very humble, it seems.
What that audience did was a huge show of love! I love how he and George talk with each other. It's all real. Just natural. You can tell how much George appreciated his appearance and interview on the show. Love them both.
Prince was intelligent period, not just about music and the industry. He was extremely knowledgeable about a lot of subject matters. I remember Prince when he was first introduce on the music scene. He was very shy, and never did interviews.
Prince and George were friends. Prince had some Glitzy Shoes made for George and gave them to him as a gift of friendship. Bless him, Prince was beautiful💜
You could tell Prince really connects and gets along well with George. He didn't always connect well with his interviewers. This definitely means George is a good guy because Prince was real and uninhibited.
I have no words. Loved Prince that much. I saw him in his residence private concert, he played every instrument. Just performed like no other. He gave so much to the world and to people. RIP super star.
Prince is really so humble...he shows it by his demeanor and way of speaking. Dressing aside because that is what makes him unique and genuine. I like that.
Damn ...legendary... I don't know but this one made me cry from the beginning. I felt how he hardly does tv appearances. But came through for George Lopez 💕🙏
Sometimes it snowes in April Sometimes I feel so bad. Sometimes I wish that live was never ending And all good things, they say, never last. Miss U Prince.
I APPRECIATE THIS INTERVIEW BOTH GEORGE LOPEZ AND PRINCE SO RELAXED DOWN TO EARTH I COULD FEEL THE FRIENDSHIP AND LOVE BETWEEN THE BOTH OF THEM 💜💜💜❤️❤️❤️👏🏽
I remember when I first saw this. Seems not that long ago. Prince was an artist. He was a true artist. You could tell that George was humbled by his appearance on his show. It was like the appreciation for each other to have the opportunity to both appear together was like a magical event. It was for me. And seeing them interact, it was for them also. Good bye sweet Prince... you were gone too soon.
All thanks go to Jehovah God and He said that ! He was a very loving Brother . And Jehovah gave him lots of wonderful talents. The main one, his love for his ministry work for Jehovah!
Always loved this episode, Prince was so sweet and so real and he truly was an amazing man. Loved his music, Prince is a Legend! I still have the Purple Rain Album and movie 😊💝🎶
I believe that Prince was like this. However, there are other sides that you hear about from people who deal with him when there are no cameras. Brownmark tells the story of Prince kicking him in the ass more than once while playing onstage. Morris Day tells stories of Prince hiring the Time to come play a gig and then telling them they are not needed once they travel to the gig. Alot of his friends have said that he could be mean even though he was generous and kind. But everyone can be that. Prince was good and I have loved him as much as you can love someone you never met.
@Glen CoCo He's black. he said that on TV one time to make things 100% clear. He was like, "IM BLACK HONEY!" and the audience burst out laughing LOL. Puertorican is a nationality not a race
@@IAMBENNYBLANCO. he said out of his own mouth that he's black. So if that's who he identifies as then he's black. He's repeatedly said that both his parents are black and he's black.
Dale Kelly no. He spoke openly on the classified information such as chem trails etc. He was open about conspiracy issues. One month after he said “too much” he was found dead. From an “overdose”.
Yes. He is missed. I admire his humility. He graciously accepted that the audience loved him. He was amazing, but I don't know if he was fully aware of that.
I love watching this video you can tell that Prince really enjoyed George & his conversation. Prince was such a stand-offish kind of person (it seems) so to see him smile and laugh this much in an interview is amazing
Prince, your glow will live on forever, in our hearts and minds!!! Baby, you will always be STAR!!! 🌟 Thank you for all the LOVE!!! 💜 Rest in PEACE!!!!
I will always remember meeting prince in person 😟after chopping it up with him for a while he handed me a jovoha witness Booklet" I still got it & treasure it'ill always miss u prince.ill never for get the conversation& our toast🥂 we had made about ur last tour""😢R.I.P
My fellow Gemini purple one I miss u I love his voice tha way he so out spoken wish we can go back to those days once before called now George Lopez is funny but so real !!?
i have no love for anyone that has no love for prince, he's inspiring and gentle soul. if theres anyone i would like to meet before i die - prince always comes to mind. love him too much!!
Very nice interview..I’m glad Prince knew he was beloved by his audience...he was so talented...I read sev books about him and he was treated very badly by his father...heartbreakingly ...he has that air about him..tinged with a touch of sadness....that people who were mistreated as children always seem to have..RIP
