Ah yes, hip-hop. Now that really puts you in the mood for a mystical adventure in ancient Persia.

Character designs and the music definetely smells like Riot Games.

I know its never going to happen but I still hope that someday they'll continue the 2008 Prince of Persia.

Gameplay doesn't look awful. Looks cool enough. Don't know about the music choice. I've nothing against rap or hip hop but it always gets chosen in trailers where it feels out of place.

The music spoiled the trailer, how does "hippo hop" make you feel like you're in ancient times.

Music, character design and voice acting all sort of set a tone that isn't Prince of Persia. I know they're trying to update it and make it modern, but it isn't what I was looking for. Surely the trailer music is just for the trailer, but personally, I would have went almost 180 in the other direction and made it very Middle Eastern and a lot less Fortnite. It's got a little Fenyx Immortals Rising in it, admittedly, and that game was fantastic. Maybe this will actually come together and the trailer is just not setting the tone well.

This looks like an original title that got the Prince of Persia name slapped on late in development to sell some copies.

I've only played the 2008 game and a bit of Sands of Time. I know the OG Prince of Persia games were side-scrollers. I don't agree with the broad negative reaction, the game looks fun to me. I still want to see a continuation of the old reboot, plus a revamp of the Sands of Time trilogy, but I don't see a problem with a game that plays more like the classic entries.
