People constantly bagging on this game makes me lose faith for the gaming audience. It is made from the team of Rayman Legends, and I believe Gareth Choker is working on the soundtrack who did the OST for the Ori games. It looks extremely polished with a focus on both gameplay and story. It has an interesting art style that sets it apart. This game will obviously not be for everyone, but some people have been gleefully writing it off. I think people can't differentiate photorealism from graphical fidelity and don't appreciate games that opt in for strong art direction instead of photorealism. Games like this seem really healthy for the industry. I hope it does well.

Have high hopes and high expectations for this. I'm an uber fan of the original DOS games anf wanted a sidescroller again. Looks like the platforming is going to look and feel quite acrobatic and awesome.

People who haven't played them definitely should. As well as the GBA version of Sands of Time! Amazing little side-scroller to this day, and still pretty challenging too. Great art style.

I understand what you say, but the theme here is completely off. This could be called anything. This gives off zero PoP vibe. Generic Monsters. No deep story with relationships of people. No mystery, no romance, no feelings, ZERO oriental and even less persian flare. A hero who looks like Bayek of Siwas gay cousin. This could be an awesome platformer but a trash Prince of Persia game.

Every one acting like this is a downgrade when Metroid Dread wasn’t a problem. I’ve been a huge POP fan since the sands of time and I’m super let down this is what they came up with but I bet it will be great.

I said this when IGN released this trailer and I meant it... Looks fantastic! I'm a POP OG (89, 93, 99, 03-05 and 08) and I'm more than stoked for this title! It would be great if we support this and possibly get a couple more (MetroidVania type) titles or a new title more like 03-05 or 08 in the near future. Thanks Ubisoft! Sieht super aus, aber 50 Euro ist viel zu viel für ein Side-Scroller... Ist zwar auch in Ubisoft Plus mit drin, aber aus Trotz verlängere ich nicht das Abo dafür. Würde das Game 20 Euro + kosten, wäre das super in Ordnung.

Just pre-ordered the deluxe edition, I CANNOT WAIT for this game! I desperately want this to be an amazing game: both because I love PoP, and Metroidvanias; and because I want Ubisoft to see in hard cash that trying new and different things can pay off on even a small-budget title and diversify what they're offering us as gamers.
