The reception line was huge. Catherine lived in Jordon as a little girl, she and the Prince are close and had lots to share. Didn’t the bride look unfazed by all the guests waiting, lovely.

Prince William is blessed that Princess Catherine knows how to speak to Royalty and commoners, alike. Not all can do that with such ease and care. She enjoys her conversations and that is a huge blessing to her as a future Queen Consort by his side❤

@@ianjameshodges2999 I believe so. I’ve seen him looking at his wife very ruefully as they sat down at an engagement. He’s been under a lot of pressure. But Catherine can handle herself. No marriage is perfect and theirs certainly isn’t. They’ll be fine though. Both are committed for life.

I think that was rude and condescending. Imagine what the princess thought when she looked over at William making that gesture she saw it and still kept her cool. Ok, so she’s chatty. It’s a freaking wedding line where people greet others they haven’t seen in a long time. It would have been better if he’d stayed next to Kate and put his hand on her back like he does to steer her away. Loved her continuing to talk. Go, Kate.

All husbands can be impatient (and wives too). Yeah, he needed to relax, but his intention was not to "disrespect" Princess Catherine or treat her as a"subordinate." He was trying to be extra polite to the other guests. He must have miscalculated the time because it wasn't all that long. I'm cutting him slack, he looks stressed out. Who wouldn't be with his crazy brother throwing bombs every day.

@aya-_-3045 not everyone. Nothing about this looks rude. Many others are in line and they had other stuff to proceed to. That gesture is the polite way to give notice on wrapping things up. Further they are married. She knows the drill at public engagement.

I got the impression he was asking Princess Katherine to wrap up because of the other guests who were waiting to greet the newly weds. I am not a huge fan of 'royals' but in my opinion, Prince William wasn't being rude but consciencious towards the other guests.

Princess Catherine is a conversationalist, we all know this, and I'm sure Prince William was very aware of all the other guests waiting to give their greetings to the newly married couple, however I feel like in this instance Prince William could've been a bit more discreet, maybe just a firm hand on her waist instead of making the hand gesture.
