Sounds like she rented out 3 of her rooms and used their money for groceries etc. Along with her teacher assistance salary, plus I think she also worked as a nanny on the side.

That's modest in comparison to the homes she grew up in and the palaces she would live in after marriage. It doesn't sound like it went to her head that she grew up in manors.

I don't think she was short of money. She liked to live a modest life. In her later life, Diana always seemed eager to live a normal life. She was the People's Princess ❤️
