I came back to watch this masterpiece again after around 1 year, you really inspired me to do stop motion and I feel so refreshed after passing by your channel. Hats off!
This Movie was awesome, I loved the call backs to LEGO Universe and it gave me some LEGO Movie feels. Have you considered doing CGI LEGO for brick films in the future?
Thanks! I might do CG here or there, I did use it recently but it’s hard to make look right. There’s much to learn still. I guess it depends on the project!
That was a very interesting watch. The amount of rewrites you went through! Am I right in thinking that, once you put together a shot list and AD schedule, the final product was pretty much set in stone? Or was there a lot of fiddling around still happening in editing after that?
Yep, once the shot list was done, the film was locked in. I had been sitting on the script for a few years with only a few minor changes each time I looked at it, and right before submitting it to my university for approval, I revised it one last time.
I have a Helios 44-2 58mm lens, a Nikkor 28mm lens, plus an old Nikkor 105mm macro lens (covered in fungus, which makes a glowing effect on some of the shots)
