Thank so much 💖 i have a question... What kind of paper do you use for the printer ? Is it regular print paper ? And do i need a special kind of printer ? Can i print it in the bookstore ? Plz help me 😭😭
I had a hard time cutting my stickers because wen it cut it misses the image that suppose to be cut I had follow all your instruction but still cutting is failed and did not cut the right image 😢😢😢 pls help I am so devestated😢😢😢
I have a problem now, they didn't allow us to pretend to be another device, but thanks to your tutorial, I was inspired to follow these guides but only different is that I print it from somewhere else instead from design space. Thanks so much for this guide, it means a lot to me.
Is there any alternative to cricut design space that can work for this hack? I really don’t wanna buy another cricut machine just to make stickers… (Update: I did indeed end up buying a new machine to make stickers ahahahah) :’)
So thankful that i found your video, I really wanted the joy to make stickers, but than i found out that it originally is not created to do that, and i didn’t wanted to spend 300€ for the explore air just for stickers, so im very happy that i can get the joy and still make stickers 😍😍 thank you so much for all your tips, im sure you helped many out with this 2 videos 🥰🥰 greetings from Germany 💖
She did me! I bought the Joy and then found out it's not meant to cut stickers and that's what I bought it for. I make resin dominoes, keychains, etc. So I wanted to be able to put names and logos on them, but I didn't want the big machines. I don't have the space. I'm so thankful I found this video, because I was so bummed. Thank you so much!!
i've looked over at least 10+ tutorials on how to print then cut with cricut joy and the small mat, i havent found any succes but then i found your video! this has been such a big help, thank you so much!!
You're my hero! I've watched several other people's videos on how to print and cut with the Cricut Joy, and I just couldn't get it right. I finally have a beautiful set of stickers after following your video step-by-step! Thank you!
Thank you for explaining all of the steps. I have seen a couple of good tutorials, but this is the best I've seen so far. I've only just started with the cricut joy so this tutorial has helped a lot.
Honestly, This is the best cricut joy stickers video I’ve seen and trust me I’ve seen many. Thank you so much! Very well explained! I just got my cricut joy and I want to make stickers and I’m even more excited to start thanks to you ! ❤❤❤
Hey Marnelle O, Just wanted to thank you on this Cricut Joy print and cut tip. I am new to the Cricut and have started with projects that are more complicated than the normal Cricut use. I didnt have a clue how to make a sticker with the cricut joy, even after watching other videos was lost, but I watched and learned step by step with your video, and to know how to get the joy to print to a printer was awsome, still have to figure how to get the cut better aligned but am pleased to get this far. Thanks Again!
Hello, so glad I saw your video. I bought a cricut joy and had so many failed attempts. Even end up cutting the board and yours really work. Thank you so much!!!
Glad I found your video. Thank you so much! This is very detailed and straight to the point. I'm planning to get a cricut joy and have been looking for this video (I mean the tutorial how to do this). I don't have the space for big machines especially if it was only for making stickers. Thank you so much, again :)
This is the easiest and best tutorial on this subject. Thanks much! I just tried it and it worked perfectly. I did not use Photoshop or the Photopea, but was able to use the offset and weld functions in design space to add my borders. Thanks again.
Thank you so much for this amazing tutorial! I was lucky enough to get a cricket joy for my birthday and can't wait to make some of my very own sticker sheets 😆
I'm in stickmania bliss cuz' of your FAB vids! I'm going to try n' get you a millionty' views! Also, I have w wee tip for perfect alignment! It has to do with leaving just a teeny, tiny, itty-bitty trace of the 6x6 border showing when you cut the stickers out b4 printing so that you can align with the drawn 6x8 on the matt! BY FAR THE BEST JOY PRINT n' CUT video here on RU-vid!
Thank you for this tutorial! I have a silhouette but sometimes I make small stickers and don’t like to spend my time creating it on such big machine! So happy I can now do it on my joy!
Your'e Amazing , Thank u very much for making this video , i was very frustrated trying to make it work & i couldn't , Very thankful that i found ur video Xo
I bought the cricut joy thinking it was specifically for stickers as I was told, i have the cricut explore air 2 which won't do print and cut, so now I'm in 400.00 and still can't just simply pray n cut!!!!
Hi Marnelle. I noticed you printed two sets of stickers. Would you still be able to cut the second sheet exactly next time since you didnt cut it on the same canvas? if yes, how?
I'm so appreciative of this tutorial! I'm new to Cricut machines and other tutorials I've looked at were confusing and left me with poor results. I've tried this one and, while my stickers didn't turn out perfectly aligned, they were much better than when I've used others' tutorials. Do you have any tips on aligning the sticker paper? I've ran my cutting mat multiple times using the same presets and design to try and get a better idea of the cutting area, but each cut is different and always cuts into my sticker outlines. Is there a way to fix this?
Happy to help! Unfortunately, it's always a hit and miss with this hack. The Joy doesn't have a sensor so it wouldn't know where to cut.. Hence, we draw on the mat. You just need to place the sticker more accurately inside the drawn mat border, the same time making sure you cut the 4x6 sticker accurately too. You can also make your sticker frame's white edges a bit wider next time :)
Hey, great video! Nice switching between camera and screen. Also easy to follow :) Just wondering - why don’t you have the Joy cut the corners off instead of drawing on the mat and cutting them yourself?
Ahaaa, you mean because you can’t be sure the symbols are aligned properly. Ok, that’s one way to solve that then :) Like I said - still nice video. Thank you for uploading!
Hi, thanks for the tutorial but i just followed all the steps yet the joy didnt cut along the stickers border, the cit wasnt aligned..is there a way to ensure the cut will be aligned to the print?
just found your video and thank you. question is can you reuse the mat frame if you save it, or have to do same process each time and can you download pictures to make stickers? Thank You
Thanks for the tutorial, just wondering how the sticker paper stayed so tight onto the mat since they were not unpeeled with adhesive side touching it?
You're welcome! I clean my mat everytime I use it for sticker making. It gets really taking after cleaning and drying. You can also use a brayer to make the sheet really stick on your mat.
I have the free version of cricut and having issues using my joy for stickers following your instructions. Is there a way to still do this with free version. I have silhouette studio and pay less & hate to have to spend almost double. Thank you for a great video.
I see my sticker in the canvas along with offset, when I send to print, a black box appears around the entire image print preview shows black line which will print. How do I print sticker only??? I have the free version of Cricut. I have been a long time Silhouette user. Image does not have background & offset does outline the image properly. what am I doing wrong?? thank you
Could you trace the border that the cricut draws with permanent marker if you wanted to skip that step going forward? I was thinking of having a mat designated to sticker making and doing that with it
Hi, I just got my cricut joy and I am wondering how I can do a kiss cut sticker WITH my own background since the sticker sets that I did have a cute background (it's part of the design). I am still wondering how to do it. Is there any chance that I can do kiss-cut stickers without having to have just a white background? Thank you!
I’m new to the Cricut Joy world and I need help. Can I cut stickers from a jpeg, svg,or png file? I’m spending loads of money having someone else to cut stickers for me when I can do it myself. The size of the stickers I need is 2 sometimes 3 inches. Most of my cuts are one color because it’s hard to layer and thus I loose all the beautiful colors because I select one layer. Thanks
I tried following this video and it works but for some reason after I print it out and stick my sticker paper to my cutting mat after we do the black square drawing on the mat, when it goes to cut, it cut off center.. and I'm not sure how to make sure that it cuts around the my pictures instead of cutting the picture itself. Any help would be awesome, I just got my circut joy last week and I'm still trying to figure it all out.
Hello po, ask ko lang po kasi nako-confused po talaga ako. Hehe.. Paano dumidikit yung sticker paper sa mat? Madikit po ba yung mat? Hehe.. Thank you! Sana makabili na din ako nito, hirap mag manual cutting ng sticker. 😅
Hi Olivia. Yes! There a several mats with different colors and different level of tackiness too. :) but It doesn't stay as sticky that long, you'll have to clean it properly to get back its tackiness. I am planning to sell my cricut joy because I'm upgrading to the maker soon! Let me know if you are interested :)
Is this the very first border guide? You just get it from elements in canva even if it's a free version. Just type in rectangle, you'll fine the border which is free form and adjustable by dragging the edges to whatever your canvas size is
I keep the larger ones and use them for my other projects :) uploading another cricut video soon where I also use some of my sticker scraps in acrylic signages :)
Hello ! Does it work well everytime for you on the CRICUT JOY ? I am afraid to buy this model and then be disappointed (sorry for my english) Christelle
Yes! :) you really have to do a lot of research first about thr joy. A lot of cricut joy buyers think it has a print and cut function but ends up getting disappointed because it doesn't 😅 so your really need to research how to hack it first before buying it :) hope the video helped you in some way! :)
I love my printer! 💗 it has 6 inks compared to the typical 4 ink printers so the color spectrum for this is wider, best for printing images and artworks :)
It is normal. :) my cuts aren't always as perfect :) just need to make sure to really cut the sticker inside the border and be careful to place it on the mat with the drawing and has to be perfectly inside the border of the mat too.
Hi I got stuck at the Remove Background. Do I need to have Cricut Access subscription to use the function? Also during the Preview the pictures and background turns ugly..sobs
Umm what boarder did u use because I went on canva and couldn't find that one. I clicked on a square one but it wouldnt fit correctly than I typed in square border and still I couldn't adjust it correctly. Than I typed in 4x6 border and still the same crap. How are you able to stretch the border downwards. I tried even when it had a little tab to pull down but than it erased the sides. What is the NAME of that border. Oh and how do I get the numbers for measuring on the canvas. Mine doesnt show any numbers on top or the side. Thank you
I think ti found 2 or 3 square borders in their elements section, you just need to find the one with the adjustable sides when you hover the mouse to its edges.
Hi, Elena. I would wait until the puppy gets his complete set of vaccines just to be safe. :) but you can take him out somewhere safe to socialize but make sure not to expose him with other dogs or places where other dogs usually go to just to make sure he doesn't get any virus while he's still a puppy
Hello! If I use photoshop instead of canva, okay Lang din po ba Yun? How thick should the border be po? And my sticker sheets are 3.5x4.9. Okay Lang po ba ganong size?
Yes. As long as it fits the size for the cricut joy it should be okay. I always use a 4x6 frame guide for my stickers before cutting. Doesn't matter how thick the frame border is, long as it stays within the length limit of the joy. :)
Hello! You have to make sure you're cutting within the 4x6 frame of your printed sticker and put it exactly inside the drawn 4x6 frame on your mat. It should work :)
The joy doesn't have a sensor, it wouldn't know where to cut. You draw on the mat so you'll know exactly where to put the 4x6 sticker sheet on the mat..so the joy can cut them :)
