This video is timely, Devlin and Sara! I started my ID job this week, and I am immediately needing to up-skill. Devlin, I would have never been prepared to make the the change without your content. Thank you! I also owe Sara a huge thank you! She met with me as I was starting to get serious about making the transition to ID. We met and discussed my resume and a storyline project I had begun working on. I left that meeting encouraged, but Seeing Sara’s fluency with ID concepts and thought processes helped me realize that I needed to take the transition about 100x more seriously. I spent the summer working hard on Storyline and learning more about ID (largely through both of your channels). I got the first ID job I applied for. This is going to sound hyperbolic, but it really isn’t; both of you provide incredible, life changing services, and I cannot thank you enough.

Wow, thank you for sharing, Zeph. I'm glad that this content is helping...but it sounds like you've been at this for a little while now. So glad that Sara met with you early on and was able to help you feel motivated...and glad that our content was able to help you land that job. Great work!!!

Congratulations, Zeph!!!! I'm glad we were able to help along your journey, and thank you for the kind words! At the end of the day, though, you took the information and applied it. Information is only as good as what you do with it, and at the end of the day, YOU changed your stars! Glad to have been a part of your journey, and look forward to seeing your journey continue!

You guys have helped me so much in this process. It is definitely overwhelming in the beginning for sure!!! I am starting to get my portfolio together using Storyline 360, what would be the following video to watch? Also, which podcast would you recommend? Lastly, is there any way to convert Google slides to Articulate Storyline? I am not a fan of Google slides but collaborating with colleagues, we often used Google slides and if I could, I want to be able to export and start my Storyline projects to save time. I suppose you can export to PowerPoint to Storyline but wanted to know if you know any other ways to reuse materials. I truly appreciate this video!!!!

Thank so much for this video, In this regard, I have question about LMS! I'm wondering if what we should to know as an ID for learning and mastering in LMS? I hope you make a video regarding this subject because it always confusing me and some of my friends! Thanks in advance for taking you time!

@@DevlinPeckYT thanks, Devlin! since I have interview for next week, I was wondering if how can I show off my skill in LMS- very important skill in job description? because my portfolio includes some samples which I made in storyline360, but I didn't upload those samples in LMS or even try that, yet! I really appreciate if you letting me know how much we need to know(I meant, in your opinion your video which you made is enough to know to ready for interview or we should be ready professional for that), so how can we exhibit LMS skills in portfolio for preparing to interview?? Thanks so much for taking your time

hello zizi, I want to share my experience. I am a learning specialist in a company, my task and responsibility is to develop interactive training modules but besides that I am also an LMS administrator. When I was first interviewed, I was asked how familiar I was with LMS, my answer was familiar with LMS administration and the basic functions in LMS because it will support us in the eyes of the interviewer how well we understand about managing courses, users, user enrollment to courses, or downloading learning data from the LMS needed as a report
@DevlinPeckYT
@DevlinPeckYT 3 года назад
@@ziziqadir4170 good question! Maybe you could use the LMS video to upload one of your projects to the LMS? You could even enroll your interviewers in the course if you’d like and they’d be able to see that it’s up and running on an LMS 😃. I’d imagine bonus points if you do it with the LMS that their company / team uses.

Hi Devlin, thanks for helping us! I have 2 questions, first: about publishing project in free trial vyond, I just tried it several times, but I didn't! how we can publish it? and my second Q: could you give us/ guide us on how we should/ can write fast and quick storyboarding or show us samples of storyboarding that you recommend. Thank you!

@DevlinPeckYT 3 года назад
Hello hello! Regarding Vyond...I'm not sure why it's giving you trouble publishing. I know that their free trial version publishes with watermarks, but there should be an export option. And regarding the storyboarding video...that's coming in one week! Stay tuned :)
