Here some thoughts Louie: 1) Prissy said in her book, that in 3/68 during the filming of "Live A Little, Love A Little" that he started getting into his "old habits" again. She didn't elaborate. So, she signed up for "PRIVATE" dance lessons 3X a week in 3/68. By 4/68 she wrote in her diary that "It’s been TWO-MONTHS and he [Elvis] still hasn’t touched me. I’m getting concerned.” 2) I think Prissy began her AFFAIR in 3/68. Elvis found out about it and did NOT want to have anything else to do with her. The MM asked if he wanted her investigated and he said, "NO." Leave her alone and do NOT say anything "negative" about her (paraphrased). 3) I think Elvis must have really felt BETRAYED. (Here's where people want to point out about all the women BEFORE their marriage, but that's not what I'm talking about. Further, she "chose" to stay in the relationship.) because he GAVE UP his INDEPENDENCE and succumbed to the BLACKMAIL by her father in order to "protect" his CAREER/IMAGE. He was NOT ready to be married and I think had been trying to get out of it until his 3/67 TBI. With that being said, he was willing to "HONOR" his VOWS until she BROKE hers. Prissy even acknowledged in her book that for Elvis marriage was "FINAL." So, she knew that the only way Elvis would DIVORCE her was if SHE wanted it. 4) So, she get's pregnant and, you're right, she did NOT want to be PREGNANT because she wanted to now be SEEN out in public with her new husband showing off her "FIGURE" and new "STATUS." 5) In 5/68 she and Elvis went on vacation to Hawaii prior to the '68 Comeback. While in Hawaii, Joe E. said they had a huge argument. Prissy was yelling that "you never touch me any more." You always have your clothes on and the room is always dark (paraphrased). Prissy was NOT use to being REJECTED. Now, it was no longer just the Hollywood starlets/groupies that kept him from her, rather he simply did NOT want her. 6) If Prissy was UNHAPPY in her marriage all she had to do was "quietly" leave and Elvis would have been okay with it. But, that's not what she wanted. She wanted to HUMILIATE Elvis with someone he thought of as a friend and who was at the top of his sport that he loved. For Elvis, I don't believe that this was so much about "loss of love" as it was about protecting his EGO and his IMAGE. 6) By 1969 they were both basically leading separate lives. 7) In 8/72, Elvis had the OPTION to "take her back," when she called him from Hawaii after having an argument with Mike S., but Elvis said "NO." 8) He moved on with his life.
This woman was the worst thing that happened to ELVIS (I'm talking about his private life)// The only positive thing was Lisa for his father, In 1959, he won the jackpot by meeting her, She ruined his life, during his lifetime and continues with his books, his movies, his lies, her greed, etc etc: She tries to pass herself off as the victim in all her interviews, with her honeyed voice and her crocodile tears///// This woman has always been a money-hungry calculator / In short, I hope that she will not come out victorious in the trials that await her, she must erase herself from public life by leaving far from the microphones that all her media hold out to her to whom she always tells the same things by contradicting each other /// Even if the authorities of Memphis allow it, no burial to GL; ELVIS and Lisa don't deserve this // TCB // TLC
