Had the thrill of seeing Elvis at Madison Square Garden, New York City, in 1972. To my surprise our seats were in first row. He was gorgeous, trim, looked very healthy. So much charisma, so talented. Will never be another like him.

You both are a blessing and I pray God blesses you beyond measure, keeps you strong, healthy and with long life. Elvis Presley was a one of a kind stage performer, 40 years after his death, he is still remembered, not forgotten. We can at least all agree on that, even if we disagree on other things.
Whatever anybody thinks of her if it wasn't for her there would be no Graceland for the fans to visit. I've been lucky enough to see it. It's AMAZING. So I'm really grateful for what she's done and continues to do

They built so many EP money making businesses around it that it has completely lost its charm and its mystery! I just can feel and imagine you feel Elvis, Priscilla, he never leaved my heart, still in my mind and soul. I live in Belgium, near Germany (Hamburg) but once i hope life will give me the opportunity to visit Graceland and to feel Elvis as i heard him first time when i was 2 years old, as my parents played, 'Are you lonesome, tonight' on the pickup in 1962. So amazing, as he still inspiring me every day. And i sing his songs by his wonderful music on sound mixes as wall i play his music about every day, so i can touch his heart and soul. He will be my great idol for ever.

I am so grateful and inspired by Priscilla Presley. It's funny to see the same like 4 or 5 people on here commenting on every post with negative comments haha. Without Priscilla, you wouldn't be able to experience Graceland and she has played a huge role in continuing his legacy. She is such a sweet, genuine woman when you meet her in person. She looks absolutely stunning for being 72 years old.
Yes I'm a big Elvis fan but even I acknowledge Elvis had many girlfriend's and if Priscilla had a fling with Mike Stone then it was only because Elvis had been doing the same thing himself and he knew it. Unfortunately many Elvis fan's don't like to accept hearing the truth they paint him to be this perfect southern gentleman who did no wrong but this kind of thinking is why he died so young. Elvis was in denial about his addiction to pills and his addiction to women and that on top of a very unhappy life toward the end of his career is what pushed him over the edge. Yes, Elvis loved Priscilla even after there divorce and os known as having gone to beg Priscilla to return back to him but she was over it all she could see the mess he was in with his career and having to deal with the women, Colonel Parker, the pill's ... etc Priscilla loved him but had enough of his bad choices. Elvis is the King but with all his greatness he was like us all imperfect which should help us to understand him and love him the more as we recognise none of us are perfect and yet he gave us more than we could ever hope. This was the first interview did I really feel to Priscilla's soul maybe she was very protective earlier and some of the earlier interviews but I'm glad she came around and had the courage to be more of who she was and I thank Priscilla I love her now more
Priscilla is a beautiful, amazing human being. I've been fortunate enough to meet her 10 years ago, and we talked about her final conversation with Elvis. I found her to be a genuine, loving, caring and beautiful lady, and I can understand why the King chose her to be his bride: she is truly a Queen.

I'm not looking to argue with anyone or bash anyone in any way. Before you judge, you need to be compassionate about how hard life can be for everyone. Everyone has a story. Elvis was a good person, but he had a lot of emotional problems growing up. He had had a hard life and so did Priscilla because of his falling in love with her at such a young age. He was messed up and he messed her up. She did not use him. He basically got a hold of her at 14 and pretty much dominated her. She was so in love with him and he was in love with her, but he was not fair to her at all. He kept her isolated while he had a great time (traveling, cheating, and doing drugs and she forgave it).Once she was old enough to realize what he was doing to himself with drugs she took Lisa Marie and left. You can't blame her. She's even said it was the hardest thing she had ever done at that point. There's only so much a person can take. They loved each other to the end. She started Graceland to keep his memory alive and if you watch older videos of her, she was more emotionally attached back then. She went to a lot of trouble to preserve it and restore it as much as possible because Elvis loved it so much. When she did it, it was for Lisa, but now I think it is more for the fans. If she was a gold digger, she could have just relied on the money she got from Graceland, but she didn't. She worked. She became an actress and worked for her own money. It was so long ago and now she is 72. Give her a break. And, regarding her looks, there is so much pressure to look good for women in the spotlight. One doctor botched her plastic surgery and messed up her face. She tried to have it fixed. It's not her fault.

I believe she loved Elvis. They grew apart because Elvis had a lot of women during their marriage. She grew lonely and she did have an affair. U must understand, she moved in with Elvis around 14 or 15. She had no income of her own. He knew that. After his death she made his legacy even bigger and made a lot of money for his daughter and grandchildren. She's a brilliant business women. Donna Joshi - Priscilla first moved to Memphis when she was 2 months off her 18th birthday. She first stayed with Elvis father Vernon, but then moved into Graceland when she was 18.

On the morning of August 16, 1977 Elvis Presley in the hours after arriving back to his home in Graceland at 12:28 AM took care of last minute tour details and relaxed with family and staff. Elvis was to fly to Portland, Maine that night for a concert at Cumberland County Civic Center to kick off his tour on August 17th. Played racquet ball and played Blue Eyes Crying In The Rain on the piano. Elvis retired to his master suite at Graceland around 7:00 AM to rest for his evening flight. At 9:30 AM Elvis takes the book he's been reading, Frank Adams' The Scientific Search For The Face Of Jesus, and goes into his bathroom, Ginger tells him not to fall asleep in the bathroom, knowing his propensity to nod off from before. Okay he says. Ginger goes back to sleep. By late morning Elvis Presley is dead of heart failure in his bathroom reading a book.
Am I the only one who likes Priscilla? She has this calming factor to her. She seems like a nice person. She doesn't come off as an evil person like people claim she is. She just seems genuine and seems like she still loves Elvis.

If it feels so good being there I wonder why Precilla doesn't live at Graceland. I don't understand because I would always want to be where Elvis felt at home which was Graceland. Elvis was so special to millions of people and He will never be forgotten !
Maybe because of the fans who would pay to get in early at Graceland to see all the rooms, including the one she would sleep in - this way, Priscilla wouldn't have any privacy or sleep. And also because like what Billy Smith, Elvis' cousin, said, it would be hard to live somewhere where Elvis was more than any other place (i.e., Graceland), but not anymore.
It's easy for certain people in certain environments to get hooked on drugs. People who have an addictive personality and Elvis clearly did. His fame came quickly with an abundance of everything - money, fame, adoration and worship, girls, and anything money and fame could buy. Pretty heady stuff for a poor boy from a small southern town and background. Being an entertainer of that magnitude is filled with pressure, people, expectations and money to do it all. It's also grueling because everybody wants a piece of you and your fame. Your schedule is not normal, sleeping and eating upside down. I would guess that's how Elvis got hooked on drugs. To come down and get to sleep, he probably needed sleeping pills, then when he woke up groggy and sluggish, he needed uppers to get up and perform.
I love how everyone has an opinion on her as if they knew her or what went on in their marriage. So many nasty remarks from obviously very jealous people! Pathetic. She was a child when she met him and as muchas I love him he was not a good husband yet they both handled it well! The only thing we really do know for a fact is that he had a lot of women whilst married to her therefore she is entitled to every penny. Thanks to her Graceland is open to the public and she managed her daughter's affairs like a good mother! Of course with Colonel Tom Parker as his manager, he wasn't allowed to express himself or do what he wanted. There were so many opportunities that were knocking, he wanted to tour outside the US and be a dramatic actor, the colonel wouldn't let him do these things. He got bored.. plain and simple!
