Prismacolor in A Million Sloths | Part 4

Hi Erin, I’ve been watching some of your videos for the last week. They are very nice and instructive. I started applying some of your advices. I bought the prismacolor 12 set, just to try it. Here the prismacolor are really really expensive. The 150 set costs 160€ and the 72 set costs 83€ in amazon europe. So, I’m crossing my finguers and hope that there will be a good offer on the black friday

Can somebody out there give me some advice? I want to know if the Prismacolor users out there are experiencing the same thing as myself in using them. OK I like them alright but compared to my Polychromos I feel that they are more LIKE crayons as I apply them to the paper. Not that they are "crayons" but that they are very waxy, I have several sets of the 150 (because I have a problem and because during the Covid (distribution ) scare I bought more sets than I should have).😂 But even among the sets I bought I felt that there were subtle differences in quality among those sets. Has anyone out there experienced something like this before? I know their composition is very different from Polychromos, I get that. But even among Prismacolor sets I am seeing a variation. I like them but sometimes I feel like I may have received a "fake" set here and there . I know (from research on that subject) that the chances of that are very remote but I worry about it anyway. Please someone put my mind at rest so I can get my ICD mind off this question for good! Thank to you ALL ahead of time! Your color alongs, and your videos period are among some of the best on RU-vid.
