Tom - 2.2 MILLION Americans in cages. 650/ 100,000. Second is El Salvador, a failed state run by drug cartels, with 590. MANY people are in cages simply because they cannot afford bail. 2 'judges' in Pennsylvania were convicted of sending CHILDREN to prison and getting kickbacks. $2 MILLION and 17, 24 years in prison for them.

A private company serving the role of a government institution (like a prison) cannot deny a citizen access to their services for ... personal reasons. If a member of the KKK worked for the private company they could not deny the right of a black woman to visit her son in prison because the clerk was going to trespass them from the property because they don't want black people on the property. So it is with people who own a camera. They cannot be trespassed from the public parts of the property just because they possess a camera.
A member of the Aryan Brotherhood working in an election office cannot trespass a black man who entered the building looking to register to vote. The government doesn't work that way.
I don't know much about privately ran prisons, but I know state prisons ran by the state, those correctional officers are the authority on that property. The sheriff does not have authority on state prison property. The outside authority on state prison property is usually the state patrol or State Police. I know this cuz my brother was arrested for trespassing on state prison property while recording, On September 5th 2023. When he went to court he lost his case. This was in the state of Ohio, I do not know about Tennessee.

(A) No person, without privilege to do so, shall do any of the following: (1) Knowingly enter or remain on the land or premises of another; (2) Knowingly enter or remain on the land or premises of another, the use of which is lawfully restricted to certain persons, purposes, modes, or hours, when the offender knows the offender is in violation of any such restriction or is reckless in that regard; (3) Recklessly enter or remain on the land or premises of another, as to which notice against unauthorized access or presence is given by actual communication to the offender, or in a manner prescribed by law, or by posting in a manner reasonably calculated to come to the attention of potential intruders, or by fencing or other enclosure manifestly designed to restrict access; (4) Being on the land or premises of another, negligently fail or refuse to leave upon being notified by signage posted in a conspicuous place or otherwise being notified to do so by the owner or occupant, or the agent or servant of either; (5) Knowingly enter or remain on a critical infrastructure facility. (B) It is no defense to a charge under this section that the land or premises involved was owned, controlled, or in custody of a public agency.
Reba....sooner or later your gonna have to take that ride...so you can give them one. That is what makes changes. If your gonna take the trespass then get the written one. Attached to it is a writ that must be signed by either the cop or the ones tresspassing you. Who ever signs that is screwed if it's an illegal trespass. You'll have standing in a court of law...law suits make change.
The girl CO was ignorant and nosy but she was not rude and readily gave her name and the warden's name so she was ok. We expect most prison COs to be ignorant of these things.

I would ask, "May I see the order?" -Not just a law, if any but a court order is required to be signed by a judge in a court of competent jurisdiction, specifically naming the man and the act that is prohibited. Our government wasn't created to govern the people. 👍
