@RoastTurtle2 not really the obvious, it's hard to respect people who put you in prison. I still want the bastard copper who put me away n I can hold a grudge for years
My father was saved by 3 people serving life in Idaho. I got a chance to meet all 3 of them. They performed CPR on my father until medical was cleared through the yard during a riot. It took almost 45 minutes before they got to my dad. They keep him alive because he was always honest and fair with them.
I know there is a better way forward than our current systems. Better systems come from better people. Sometimes green mean money making machines Destroy communities. The machine must be feed, so it eats its community. In my opinion, anyway, it’s only my perspective.
@@AsapStephyou've never had prison experience and it shows. i haven't either but talking to ex cons tells an entirely different story from the movies. but you're probably a child that doesn't know any better so it's ok if you don't know.
A good man I know went to prison for ten years for drugs got out and eventually became a pastor also runs his own construction company and is married with three kids it Can happen.
@@StonedPsychodepends on the prison and depends on the people. Some are just dandy, others are full of some of the biggest degenerates humanity unfortunately has to call "fellow man".
Thomas tells his brother there's no help for him now. But I think the fact Thomas can say that and still loves his brother like he does shows there is some hope he could turn his life around
@istvankarolyfarkas6125 based on his actions in the episode, I don't think he is. He told his brother to straighten up and obviously loves him, when he found out his brother was safe he stood against the other prisoners to allow nolan and the others to leave. Even with his supposed influence with the prison something like that is a massive risk. Could have led to a loss of standing with the other inmates. Risking his life because a cop saved his little brother. I think there's hope in the characrer to turn his life around. He just needs to want to do so.
That is exactly how it happens. My husband worked for the Parole Board and never lied to the parolees and always kept his word. Prisoners knew him and showed him respect.
I saw a video once of inside a prison were a prison guard was attacked by an inmate. HOWEVER he was rescued by three others. They said they did it because the guard never mistreated them and treated them like people, not trash, so they respected him.
My absolute favorite part from that episode was when hector tell Thomas “they respect you” and his brother replies “they don’t respect me! They fear me” huge eye opener for him
In 1981 I worked with a escape from death row inmate. She became my best friend when fbi captured her sentence was changed she was released eventually and her case was resolved she was my best friend very honest woman her husband beat her because she protected their children from him he was trying to SA his baby dtr. She died from natural causes love you Kitty.
🤦🏻♀️just remember we are all hypocrites in a dynamic environment with highly skilled workers in theatre, theatric’s, psychological warfare, MKUltra, hypnosis, supper subconscious mind manipulation and control, conditioning, etc etc and all the rest. ..,,Hollywood, politics, Crime Rings, Organized Crime, white collar crimes, witchcraft, Corruption, etc etc There is a better way forward ❤I feel it in my Soul 🕊️🔥✝️🙏🇺🇸🗽🔔🎶
@abyssbloodgazer6801 No, they arnt you can have them born into this world. You are pure and innocent, you have honor, and its something you can easily lose it, once you have it CAN be earned back but is forever tarnished by lies will never be pure again
When I was a kid my mom was a CO and we lived in some housing on campus that was for guards and their families. Inmates on work detail would come and mow the yards and an alarm would go off so we’d all know to go inside our homes. When my sister was born she had a medical emergency during mowing time and my mom panicked and just ran out of the house yelling for help. 2 nearby inmates ran over and helped until an ambulance could make it.
Respect goes a longgggg way in prison man straight up. When I was working at a jail, I literally had inmates escort a fellow inmate to his cell after he freaked out on another officer and threaten to kill us lol. They helped me out simply because I respected them and treated them like the grown ass men they were.
That’s a good brother right there he may have gotten himself in prison but he knows the consequences of being in there and warning his brother to he better then him
That's the whole point about problems of current prison system. It just makes even the most smallest criminal with a glimmer of hope of being good again by snuffing it out, and turning them into a hardened psychopath.
@eugenestevenkong9430 I mean yeah that's what they're designed to do, prison has never been about Rehabilitation it's always been about punishment. It's just a shame that some of these folks who get pushed to borderline Insanity get released to commit further crimes therefore sending them straight back to prison. It's a never-ending Loop that keeps prisons full
@eugenestevenkong9430 and because there is such a low chance that one of them is able to successfully maintain a job and become a productive member of society again, they resort to crime which unfortunately sends them right back to the prison Pipeline and then the cycle repeats
@@ds10340They don’t get famous actors to play extras lol it wouldn’t be that unbelievable that this guy knows on of the people playing an inmate, they’re just extras, like lots of extras are just regular people😆
It's all in how you talk to people. And inmates have nothing except your word. You keep your word. If not, God be with you. Has nothing to do with 'hug a thug". Just your word!!!!
John 14:27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.
I'm crying! Dee, I miss you so much! I went from being Lil Yum Yum to Ebie. You and Mama saved my LIFE! I'd get mad that you were so protective and told me to listen to Mama and not be like my sisters. I'm successful in life and happy. I pray you and Mama are proud of me. I miss ya'll so much. I will forever 💕 lost a piece of me when I lost yall. I live for God and Jesus, and ya'll!
This crazy, you can't follow the rules in the street , but can follow them in prison, and there not even the system rules!!! Tell me violence don't chang thangs!!😢😢😢😢
Now the real respect was when ol boy gave way for innocents, and when someone spoke up for the innocents to walk away unharmed. Now let's get down...real warrior shit...I thank God for putting me in those situations so I can change my life, knuckle head quotes
