So much incompetence everywhere within government departs, why is so hard for them to do their job properly. Government workers must have no real leader to answer to and just go about their day doing as minimal as possible, this has been shown again and again. Imagine the ATO using the same inquiry standard. "We approached the citizen who is suspected of withholding taxation, they assured us they were not". Just missing a red nose and big pair of shoes, what a freaking joke this is...
at least she's a rare example of a bureaucrat that appears to have a clue about her role perhaps unwise to take TT's word but unlike most who appear at these hearings, she's at least able to form a coherent thought and speak well to her role

She says "Based on the information we were able to obtain..".. she SHOULD be able to obtain this information herself with the skills and equipment afforded to her and her team by us, the taxpayer.. Is Ms Kind ACTING in this role while her supervisor is on extended leave for an ingrown toenail or something? FFS.. she goes on so long about 'pixels'.. are we talking about the individual 'magic pixel' some website and emailers use to try and fingerprint a user's device? I remember learning about those at TAFE almost two decades ago.. (which is why so many email clients (programs) require the user (you) to click 'show images' before images are displayed..)
Is anybody concerned that Meta is doing the same as Tiktoc? Mobile phones cannot escape Meta. It gives itself permission to listen to conversations, track data, and spy on our every move, regardless of whether we have Facebook or not. No permission required.
