Ive come across sensitive and classified information and never disclosed it. Just to say more. I also don't have a clearance. I never needed one because I know a lot about a lot already. Firstly, Senator Patterson is the shadow minister for home affairs and shadow minister for cyber security. Therefore, the crimes of the US government in Afghanistan have no real importance to him. Assange was convicted of hacking related charges in his early life (1990's) and allegedly helped Chelsea Manning break US military encryption on TOP SECRET military files (no matter the contents), that brings into the conversation, is he trust worthy? What if he does it again but this time targets Australian Military secrets? These are all questions the shadow Cyber security and home affairs minister needs to ask and quite frankly something that puts Assange's reputation on the line. He's a criminal, not a hero.
