This is a Classic 9-Ball match from the PBT Legends of 9-Ball Tournament, January 1996, at the the Commerce Casino in Los Angeles, between two of the sports best players of the time, Efren Reyes and Jim Rempe.
Steve Mizerak commentates with Nick Varner and host Tom Kelly.
Seen in the audience are Johnny Archer, Tony Ellin, Jimmy Reid, Kim Davenport, Billy Incardona, Carmine Sardo and many more.
The last 5 games are spactaculor and this is truly one of the greatest matches of all time.

its nice 2 see d audience applauding on efren's win, despite the fact that he's playing on the opponent's territory. all in all a very nice game 4 both of them & of course a nice job once again by BCN 4 uploading dis. tnx

One of the best matches BCn has ever uploaded! Thx BCn. It was worth the wait! Great to see Rempe play when he was in top form. Bring on the Finals match next! Would be great to see more of the classics from the 70's, 80' & 90's. It would also be great to see some Straight Pool Classics with some of the greats of the game.

omg i'm 32 minutes into the match and Reyes just pulled off the most amazing shot i've ever seen .... and i mean imho even better than that impossible shot already posted on YT ... this match is amazing so far !!!!!!!!!!! Thx a lot BClub :D :D :D You guys are THE BEST!

By far one of the greatest matches I've ever seen. Also "Hurricane" Tony Ellin (RIP) at 54:28. I wonder what he career would be like if he was still alive.

At the beginning of the video I thought "Who is that guy on the left?" I didn't recognize the young Nick Varner at ALL! This is a great match, great to see these two legends in top form. I'd love to see some footage of Earl Strickland in his top form too!

... as a fan I have watched efren reyes's every move, even off the table. Watch at 49:20 he's sitting at table.. picks his nose, looks at it, then flicks it between his legs. I thought it was funny. anyone that has watched efren for some time can see that he touches and rubs his nose often.
