Somewhat although he was saying Dustin was throwin too many head strikes but that’s what you’ve gotta do when you are Dustin against Gaethje. Going to the body of Gaethje wouldn’t have made him “easy to knockout” like Vidal said. I think that’s just him not knowing the fighters though.

@@staynielherbayn657 Mate his advise is solid dustin is the better striker fundimentaly thats why he won but he would've had an easier time throwing to the body, if youve trained before youd know when your stunned your head is your biggest worry a couple of body hooks would've done even more damage

@@jayluis189 wut. Volk ain't a wrestler he's a complete stand-up fighter and he's not much of a kickboxer because he's too short to kick people to the body/head. He's a boxer and a better one than Holloway

@@nickgrant2625 Volk’s initial martial arts base is literally Greco & his striking offense is explicitly kickboxing - his most frequently utilized combos either begin or end off with a lead calf kick or low kick. Jay Luis is correct.

I’ve noticed all these Uk fighters over the years have such a great mentality. They do not change. Such humble, genuine respectful people who appreciate art and poetry.

One thing to note a boxers defence is much different then mma as they only need to be concerned with the hands, but mma you need to be concerned with knees , legs , take downs and subs

Finally someone said Nick Diaz’s boxing can be sloppy af. Same with Nick. They throw wide looping punches and tend to just overwhelm opponents with volume and cardio.
