Just received our new machine today. Can't wait to assemble it and start cranking out some parts! This is the second machine we've purchased from these guys, and I continue to be impressed by their engineering and overall commitment to customer satisfaction. Keep up the awesome work, guys!

looks nicely designed and quality built; have a question though: why did you choose rack and pinion over ballscrews?

Would using only one rail per side for the y-axis vs two per side make any difference? Would the gantry have any side to side rocking play?

are the aluminum frames strong ? will they get dents ? what if we use steel instead . Do we get accuracy with rack and pinion instead of ball screw

Of course I love CNCRouterParts offerings, even if I am tempted to build one myself to avoid the currency conversion factor alone. Currently our CAD value means I pay 30% more right off the bat plus another 13% for duty, but what ever. Could someone not have offered these guys a ball end t-bar allen wrench?? or Impact driver for time factor alone?

Hi Chea, We have more details in our plug-and-play electronics video, though it is still more high-level and practical usage oriented and less theory of operation (which would be a fun video to make). Good luck with your thesis! -Nathan
