To make instant coffee lose some of it's bitterness and produce a better flavor, first add a tad bit of COLD water and mix it up. The pour in the hot water and stir. This removes bitterness and makes a better coffee. If you use cream in your coffee, let the cream be the tad bit of liquid that you mix the coffee in before pouring in the hot water.
Have this guy taste the same coffees again but give each cup to him without him knowing which coffee brand it is. Then play back-to-back the old the new reviews of each cup and compare the old and new ratings.
WHY WHY WHY DO AMERICANS say bunch for anything that's not a bunch. You can have a bunch of flowers, a bunch of grapes and a bunch of keys, YOU CAN'T HAVE A BUNCH OF COFFEE it makes you sound so DUMB
@@mCblue79 well it has multiple meanings actually. To dumb something down, eg simpler, less intellectual. The chilli is super hot, let me dumb the heat down a bit. See if you weren't so dumb you may have known!!
What an interesting video! Loved how he didn’t take a buzzfeed-esque pretentious/over the top “eww instant coffee” approach! I’ve overlooked instant coffee in favor of my morning french press but I’ll pick up a few of these just to try it for myself!
With all the complaining about Starbucks coffee costing $2.15 a cup, I find it ironic that all of these instant coffees have found a way to price themselves at $2 to $3 a cup. That is, all of them except Starbucks, which is the least expensive at 88 cents a cup.
The list in is the description.. Smh 🤦🏽♀️ Maybe check there next time before commenting complaining about something that is actually already provided... gah ppl are so lazy now a days & just turn on CC(closed captioning) if you can’t hear then bam! There’s the actual text of everything being spoken & the names of the coffees duh 🙄 it’s not that hard to figure things out
Why is he speaking all soft and whispery? Watching this late at night, alone in a dark room, I feel like he is about to lick my neck and caress my nose with his tongue
I drink the Pike Place because it's usually the strongest blend on hand at the grocery store Starbucks. Flavor is secondary to strength and the lighter the blend, the higher caffeine. My go to is the blonde roast, a venti packs 470 mg of caffeine, that's like 2.5 cans of Monster Energy. The thing is, I normally have to go to a regular Starbucks to get a cup of that in a speedy manner, which would involve backtracking on my way to work.
I think he is being psychologically influenced by the brand names. Now if it was a blind taste test, and he didn't know the brands ahead of time, that would be good.
DONT LET HIM KNOW THE BRAND HE IS TASTING! Also tell him one will be Tasters Choice and one will be a Maxwell House and watch him find 2 "awful" coffees in this same group of coffees.
I'm not a fan of ANY coffee that has anything in it except coffee. No citrus. No nut. No cream. No sugar. None of that stuff. I like coffee. If I want citrus I'll eat an orange or drink citrus juice of some kind. I like non-bitter but full bodied instant coffee.
Seems like a nice young man, very informative but I needed a jolt of caffeine to get through the video . This guy is the Perry Como of coffee tasters. Only old folks will get that reference . Liven it up just a tad son.
I got this Jacobs brand instant coffee from Amazon. It's alright tasting but my mouth and throat started to make this nasty phlegm. I'm now 70% sure it's because of this coffee. It's bad. The other day I was afraid I was going to die due not being able to breath properly. Had to throw up a lot. Anyone else have this experience with instant coffee? I'm going back to Nestle even though I hear they are not a very ethical company.
@@joeway8665 I don't think so. I took two vaccinations ASAP and haven't had any other symptoms. I believe I would have had fever at least if it was Covid. I went to see a doctor and he examined my throat and found nothing. He felt some cartilage there he suspected might be something. Sent me first to a lab for blood and then ultrasound my throat. I smoke white Marlboros a pack a day. I was ofc afraid it would be throat cancer but blood values were all normal and ultrasounding my throat they also found nothing. Doctor said it could have been psychological.. So yeah I've been drinking the Jacobs and other instant coffees after that and have been fine. I haven't thrown up any phlegm like before or felt that my throat was super restricted. It's still not clear a throat but maybe it's the cigarettes... maybe I'm allergic to caffeine. Idk. Gonna give vaping another change soon after I find a non-leaking mod. They all suck. Bought 5 tanks already and all leak. I was able to quit smoking cigs for 2 years with a working tank and liquids but ofc EU had to restrict nicotine liquids and fucked that up for me. Had to order some shady liquids that started making me cough uncontrollably so I went back smoking cigs. Who knows what it was but drinking that coffee didn't help.
Ironically (or not) I had a suggested video in my RU-vid home screen this morning about the evils that Nestle has, and is still perpetuating on the world. Pretty sure I do not have any of their products now but will root out this "evil" if found! It is horrible big companies like Nestle are able to get away with so much. IE: Google, Facebook, etc.
This guy is such a tool. Citrus and honeydew melon, lmfao... ive had hundreds of kinds of coffees over the world..and never once have i had a coffee that made me think of citrus and honeydew. These types of people are the absolute worst.. reminds me of folks who go wine tasting yet couldnt tell the difference between a $20 & $300 bottle of wine if they were blindfolded. Smh
