”I realised the right hander was flat” lol I can relate so much to my first practice session in a kart (senior 125) where there was a really fast right hander coming onto the straight so it’s important that you get a good run there to not lose on the straight and it was kind of a lightbulb moment for me. As always I enjoy your vids so keep doing them.

In the uk you can pretty much go to your local kart track have like a 30 minute practice ( this is in Kent btw it might vary through out the uk) and if you want you can ever buy a kart or join a team ( you have to have a license to race ) but there’s loads of series to do,club 100 and so on. I’ve been getting into kart now as well

Thought I'd comment on the "is it a race kart?" Thing, attaq motorsport race in the NKC championship, most of the karts there are privateer/small teams, and a lot are quite old for karting standards - some people are even using chassis reaching 8 years old! I'd consider the kart jimmy raced in as fairly standard for the championship. Love this video!

Hey man, I get your point. That section was longer but I cut out a part of my little monolgue. Maybe I shouldn't have, because I also explained my view a little more in there: if I were a team owner, I would not use my best stuff for this step up program. I wouldn't let any random joe shmoe have a go in my best karts

Most people still use the m6 Nassau panel as is it only 17 pounds compared to 150 for the M7 and it doesn't make much difference
