One thing that I've noticed that could help you out a lot is when you come into/during a corner you're on the gas then off then back on, If you keep a consistent roll on the throttle I feel like it will help a lot. Love the vids and keep up the good work. I hate the process of working out and it's very hard to motivate myself but you definitely make it easier for me.
You should just have forearm reconstructive surgery and take Viagra before each moto! It really helped my friend's dad's friend's son who races Loretta's in 50cc 4-6!
Hell yeah dude, corner speed and being smooth is sooo important. You should come race some FTR hare scrambles. The next few are down around Okeechobee.
What you're talking about in corner entry is really common in circle track racing as well, and typically it forces you to be gathering up the rest of the corner rather than driving off. I think you're definitely on to something with this and it will help you a lot!
I agree with Dennis below, if you watch Tomac and Roczen in the 2016 outdoor season it is apparent that they do stand thru the turns when it is rough. They were on a different level. Herlings is the same. Good luck, Jeff!
Awesome point regarding corner entry speed. Ryan Hughs calls motocross an “Exit” sport! Thanks for videos, really digging them! Pulling for you in ‘19!
I have found CBD pain cream put on before I ride totally eliminated my arm pump problem. I broke my wrists and when I got back on the bike I had the worst arm pump and hand cramps so I tried this CBD cream and now I don't get it at all anymore. I became such a believer I now sell it and it pays for my racing. Let me know if you want more info. Keep up the great vids Jeff Walker.
Please please do a step by step guide on whipping! And do in depth too, like sitting on the bike showing how to turn the handle bars, where you are pushing your feet out to bring the bike back, too many videos of people showing but it’s just a go pro and then talking about it. You should break it down and talk about it and show on the track and just sitting on it or something! Thank you!! :) I’m sure others will agree with this. Great videos man!! Keep them up a lot of us learn from you man and become better riders because of you.
Keep ur the hard work bro. U have so much potential it's crazy. Been a subscriber for month or so and each vid is proof this guy Jeff has what it takes to bring that big c home..
Hi Jeff 👋, Arm pump can be brutal, I’m basically a beginner riding on tracks and geez the arm pump gets to me pretty quickly. Been trying to practice being more relaxed and trusting the bike, just gotta keep pushing. I have deep respect for the pros, it truly is a challenging sport that requires skills and a fit, nimble physique. Also, digging the content, keep up the good work 🤙
YOUR CHANEL IS AWESOMEEEEE, I broke my leg and did my acl playing Bball but I also ride and I’m devastated but it’s really cool to watch vids like yours 👍🏽
Cool this helped me big time! I have noticed you take the same rut in the corners and maintain the same line. Maybe force yourself to take the worst lines so that you can be uncomfortable and will be prepared for when you get pushed to the worst line
So I noticed you didn't use the clutch hardly to shift and couldn't even tell when you shifted, is that 450 just geared like that or do you not shift down with the clutch? Even when you shift up I couldn't tell if you used the clutch.
@@GC__ I'm not an expert but I'm pretty sure you can shift clutchless on mx bikes if you time it right like as long as you're not jamming or grinding gears just timing the shifts
Hi Jeff, with your 60fps just check to make sure what you're exporting and uploading is still in 60fps. Typically YT states it's being displayed at 720p 60fps or 1080p 60fps, in red under the settings tab but here it doesn't show. Great riding keep it up!
I found a random video which shows what I mean, just click the settings and you'll see it has options for 1080p60 HD. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-k_RpftRwrNk.html
Hey Jeff. Just a tip to get rid of the graininess of the dirt in your videos: When you export your video, raise your target AND maximum bit-rate in the export settings (depending on what program you use to edit). I know Premiere Pro has the option to change that, but I'm not too sure on other platforms. That'll make the video export smoother and get rid of the graininess when moving at high speeds. Let me know if this helps :)
TS EDITS if you’re speaking of the ND filters, they have universal friction for ones for such as drones. Could get creative with a GoPro I suppose. I’d be surprised if GoPro doesn’t have any. I mean anything to cut down the light coming in should do especially if he’s shooting 1080 and above.
Dubach talked about coasting speed and Ryno recently said the same thing on a IG video. Also try using a ND filter to keep from overexposing the terrain this pixelating it. Aforementioned high upload settings will help too. Looking good mate!
definitely smoother riding Jeff. You need to set your gopro to let it grab as much color as possible. There a mountain bike dude that d chest mount video and he explain how to get the best quality from your Gopro!! Can't wait to see you compete!!! Keep it up Jefff, Almost 20k Subs Luv from Canada!!!!
Maybe do a video on what are the most important ways to implement people who are just getting into racing and never hit jumps. By the way keep the videos coming some great content you got! By the way I have a 2019 crf450r to I love it!
Can't comment on the last vid, but there was some weird graininess here, dunno what it could be. Anyways great vid, keep em comin'. I've ridden trails my whole life, it's cool to see the training of a motocrosser. I've always just ridden for a couple hours with a casual break now and then. I don't think I'd fair too well doing a 15 or 30 min moto going that hard haha.
Jeff i dont understand why dont you use clutch to shift ? i am trying to understand because i also have arm pump trouble and if this helped your corner speed i think it will also help me for the arm pump issue as well since my bikes clutch is kinda stiff. thanks
👍 video . My dad tells me all the time...NO CLUTCH in the corners be in the correct gear. Sometimes I sneak it but he catches me 😊. I also started standing up more until the last second in my corners and then carry my momentum and throttle out. He always yells at me about good throttle control. And now learning to not always drop down in my corners bc sometimes I’m faster standing in them but it has to be the right corner. Have a good Mr Walker 👊🏻🏆👍 @oliverkamp910
im curious. it seems like every rider has problems with arm pump, but i have yet to see videos of their training working on grip strength or using a hand bike for conditioning some days instead of their normal biking. do you use a hand bike or work on grip strength at all?
Hey Jeff. I just picked up a 19 crf450. Non works model. Can we get a more current suspension setup you're running since you're constantly dialing bike in every video? Thanks man
I ride a dirt bike since 8 years and I cant get how you can flow trough roughness without any problem it looks like you dont care at all but for me its just like im going in vietnam so I have to slow down
Hi Jeff, do you know anyone that owns a CR500AF? It would be awesome to see a comparison between the 450 and the 500. If not, you could always come to Australia and ride mine!!!
Hey Jeff I have a problem with arm pump and was wondering if you could help. So I feel like I am gripping too hard and when I’m riding I feel like I am concentrating too much on actual riding and not breathing so my arms tend to pump up pretty quick. I’ll be riding and sometimes I notice I’m not breathing and I’ll be like, “Oh I’m not breathing, I need to breathe”. I want to know if you have any tips to help me fix this problem. Anyways keep up the quality content!
I have no idea what arm pump is I don’t get it and I’m glad the only thing that I get and isn’t really bad is my fingers lock up but that’s not to bad.
