Thanks for you vid. Nice and straightforward and informative. In terms of the loudness, what are they like on the road? What’s your view? Too loud (as in obnoxious, or a nicer throatier sound)? Just trying to make the decision for my 1200 RS (exactly the same as yours!). Thanks.

Cheers matey. Definitely not obnoxiously loud. Bit louder than stock. Has a nice grumble to it. I'm keeping em until warranty is out. Easy enough to fit if you have a set of long sockets lol. Gonna be putting stock one back on for France, not risking it. 👍👍

Hi again. Just fitted the exhaust. Love it. As you say a deeper noise and not obnoxious at all. Dead easy to fit once I’d got those bloomin bolts off the OEM pipes! Thanks for your help on helping me chose these. Much appreciated. Ride safe mate. 👍

Great videos - thank you! Looing at the Pro Race for mine when it arrives, has it changed the sound much? and do you know if Triumph will be tricky over any warranty issues relating to the engine etc? Cheers, keep up the good work!

Cheers matey. The pro race pipes I fitted sound great even with the cat still on. Triumph actually recommended the racefit which eliminates the cat but in turn needs remapping so that may void the warranty. I'll wait until warranty is out. I do like the look of them though, the link pipe follows the curve of the rear tyre and looks really well. When I had my mt10, yamaha installed a full arrow system for me at the 600 mile service and that didn't void the warranty but its the ecu work that's the issue, I just had that mapped and there wasn't any problems with the bike.

The suspension adjusters, its for adjusting the preload? Not compression and redamp?

They certainly are, you need a 3mm Allen key to adjust the compression & rebound on the front forks. The adjusters sit inside the nut on top of the forks. 👍👍

what do you make of these? I am looking at them or the SP Engineering, or if Iam going to spend money the SC Project. Do you need a tune?

Not bad for now. Just slip on, not need for a tune with cat still on. Eventually I'll be putting a full system on and getting it mapped.

Definitely louder, deeper tone. If you take stock can off and start the bike up, similar sound.

It's quite abit louder than the original, sounds great when ya rolling on and off. I'll be getting a full system after 600 mile service.

What did you say you used to keep from digging the fork adjusters when you installed the adapters? Also where did you get those fork adjuster adapters?

Those fork adjusters only cost me £8 off ebay. There's more expensive ones but these are great for the price. EBay item number 134040466644 in the hole for the tiny retaining screw I rolled a bit of blue tack up and put it in the hole before screwing it in place, the screw doesn't need to be over tight, it just stopped it from marking the blue anodised nut. 👍👍

After market slip ons are worthless until you delete the cat. It's not gonna sound better or give you any extra performance

Wouldn't go as far as saying it's worthless, for now I've done it for the look nothing more. I intend on putting a full system on it and having it mapped once warranty runs out but for now I will be just chopping and changing until I'm happy, if that's ok

@@TheBroadyBikers people saying the suspension is so bad and not nice around town with throttle ? i have a Ktm g1290 gt and thinking of jumping ship really. tripples are nice and smooth.

@@alfiethefeline3311 I went from the 1290gt to the triple. I put a stiffer spring on it for my weight and set suspension up, no bother. Throttle is very smooth I find.
