I liked his comment about your hips. I watched your swing and saw the first direction change and the compensation with the backend of your swing. The hand position and swing plain have been 2 important aspects of improving my accuracy. The conversation was great.

Bro, I could have saved you 5 hours of driving lol. What's your league average? I'm interested in following you on your journey and seeing your improvement over time.

Thanks! I don't have an established average right now. Took off for about 4 years. Currently, in the 220s for summer league.

@@StayInYourLane300 I'm sure you trust your guy and he gave you some good information. However, I would advise you to at least attempt a crossover step. Maybe your guy doesn't like it because he's not coordinated enough to do it himself; I don't know. A crossover step will not change your overall drift nearly as much as the step to the left that he had you do and you won't have to change how you target as much at your release. I'd say give both methods a shot and stick with whichever one feels the more comfortable to you. They both address the same issue of you swinging out and away from your body on your back swing. There are other lessons I've learned through trial and error that I'd be happy to share, but I try not to give too much unsolicited advice so let me know if that's something your interested in and I'll share my experiences with you as comments on your future videos.

I gotta say, the crossover step is overrated now. Things are changing now to try to not have so much of a cross over step. The pro that is working with him is right on. He talks about walking slightly away from the swing to clear a path for the ball versus the old crossover step.

@@JSBowling2011 do whatever works best for you. I prefer not to walk in a zig zag pattern to the foul line.

@@mlbrown76 well you're not really walking zigzag, just clearing a path for the ball. It's what is being taught now
