Nothing against rashad personally but dear god he should not be commentating at this level. He doesn't speak clearly or articulatly, his input is seldom interesting or insightful,and half the time what he says is irrelevant. I am sure he is a nice guy but cmon its the pro tour. I want to get excited and intrigued by the commentary, not annoyed. I want to hear intricate explanations, theorys, predictions, evaluations, not magic for dummies. Its the pro tour, the players competing have to be top tier just to get in the door, the commentators should be held to the same standard. I was excited to listen to the match coverage at work today and i literally can't enjoy it. Again, nothing personal to rashad he is just out of his depth.
bdm randy lsv they are the entertaining ones, rashad is just inept and you can hear the frustration from the other commentators when he says things that simply dont make sense. like i said nothing against him as a person he just has no business commentating at the pro tour level. its the pro tour, everyone works their ass off, the players, the production teams, sound and video people and then to have a horrible commentator just ruins it for me at least. Its like going to a michelin star restauraunt,being served a gourmet meal, than dumping half a bottle of ketchup on it

MrMasterMing If you listen to his conversation between other commentators it's just awkward. In rounds 4 and 5 there were multiple times where the other commentator was clearly annoyed at what he was saying and got a little short with him. He doesn't seem to have much to offer as a commentator in my opinion. If he had more constructive things to say id be ok with it but for the most part it seems like he doesn't have the grasp on whats going on that the other commentators do and i find it annoying most of the time.
I'm already sick of Jeskai Tempo. 10 points of burn in the average opening hand is just as much fun as getting drained by Gray Merchant last season. Time to do some anti deckbuilding.
Re-watching this video and hearing Rashad say "poopie head" just makes me cringe. I'm glad he hasn't been commentating in recent events that I've seen.
Man, I was so confused about this match. If you are going to Dissolve or Negate on sudden instants or sorceries, then do so without triggering the Jeskai Ascendancy. It gets so confusing!
You can't do it without triggering the jeskai ascendancy because it is when steinna casts the spell, countering the spell does not stop those triggers.
