Probably The Best Indie Stylish Action Game I've Ever Played

A lot of people in the past have asked me to play Assault Spy and since it was on sale (and still is) i decided to play it. It's honestly so much fun and I think more people really need to play it. For an Indie Game it feels so clean pulling off in game especially when you get you upgrades. If you guys want something other than Devil May Cry but still something like it this is the go to game.

It’s baffling that these Japanese rights holder to anime game licenses companies don’t hire Platinum or Team Ninja (or these guys) to make actions games for their anime properties. Yet Western rights holders got the memo (well at least Activision did). It’s strange to see Platinum on Transformers, TMNT, and Avatar and NOT like Bleach, JJK, Naruto, or whatever.

Stacking a bunch of damage during overclock then timing the burst with mission end screen is ungodly levels of satisfying.

amelia has this fucking cool thing you can do with her where you can use trick down straight after her charged kick move to cancel it early so it doesn't spend any energy making it basically work like a normal trick. There are like a bunch of hidden moves in this too, like with Asaru's light stinger you can press umbrella afterwards to make it a more traditional million stab and stuff like that. No clue why they are hidden though

Bought the game when i saw your videos about it so it thanks to you that i touched some really suddenly surprising awesome game. I thought that there's only well gameplay, but there is a story and even fine characters! And i thought that game only about 2 or 3 hours but it is not!

I have alot of technical issues with the game. It doesnt recognize my ps4 controller, it doesnt remember how to stay fullscreen in many situations, it has some weird english translation stuff (i think, hud elements in training mode) and it runs horribly for me. Idk why - but frame rate is very unstable.

Where basycly comes that "character actio game" For me its just a slasher like god of war, vanhellsing, shinobi, bujinga, the adventure of ragnar aka mirror proto god of war, we know him we love him metal gear rising...and rest of it like chaos legion and...ghost rider;p Fanfact...i meet this game in same material what ghost rider ps2 Give a chance this game seriously...you love it:)

Yes, this is anothe slasher/hack 'n slash, I don't know where this New name comes from, the old names are cooler XD, I wish we could go back to those days where most games will use Dmc as a base for their gameplay, now a days every game uses dark souls as base it's not bad, but it gets boring really quick since most of the time they go safe, a good example is god of war who went from perfecting it's gameplay in asenscion to another souls like game.

@@nahuelferreyra youre right...also one thing...hack n slash is more for other games where slashing but not dmc/god of war clones...and for hacknslash rpgs Also...today is many slashers simmilars to dmc but this is more indie now Also...i someone wish separate call for slashers like dms...let's stay with showtime slasher or ranking slasher...whats how i think:)

While hyper weeb stuff like this isn't my type of thing, it looks very well-made from an objective standpoint. The combat looks solid and definitely not like some indie game.

There is the stealth section near the end of the game that is so fucking terrible I don’t understand why amazing games like this and bayonetta are always self sabotage by random fucking garbage distracting from the actual game.
