Did you purchase the boat with the dual line already equipped. Or did you add that on afterwards? My Veles came with just a single line and it’s having an issue with pulling water through the cooling lines. I am currently trying to find another rudder that’s better.
Mine is a V1 Veles. The V2 comes with dual water inlet rudder. Ive upgraded mine with an OSE dual inlet rudder. Im pretty sure you can install the V2 dual inlet rudder on to the V1 Veles but im not positive on that
Whats your average runtime on those 6600mah 6s batteries. I bought the same boat. But can't decide on either (2) 3s 5500mah at 120C for more punch OR (2) 3s 8000mah at 100C for more runtime
Go with the 5500mah for 6S. The ESC really can't handle long run time on 6S. Especially in the summer. It's a fast boat but it will overheat. I would say the 8000mah for 4 or 5S. Dual rudder inlet cooling helps temp in my boat.
@@goin4brokerc Hi I just bought the V2 Veles, what a beautiful boat. The sponsons on my one sit extremely flat from factory. The motor is not sitting straight though, slightly to the right and is bending the flex shaft a little ? I was recommended the OSE upgrades by Ironclad. I bought 2 2S 80C 5200mah Zeee batteries, what do you think is the runtime with these ? and the premium 2S 120C 9000mah for 4S for if the 5200mah don't last long enough. 6S for future upgrades. Would you recommend for the motor mount and rudder assembly screws I use blue or red loctite ?
@MaxPower211983 You can readjust the motor and the mount by looseningthe screws. You should be able to shift where everything lines up and tighten in place. I wouldn't run 80c batts. Run atleast 100c or 120c to get the boat on plane quickly and less draw on the system. 5200 mah may get you 5 minutes in the Veles. You don't want real heavy batteries either so things to consider
