I purchased a 917! The car is not bad, but Rlaarlo's customer service totally sucks! I have spent around $500,00 on the car and many upgrades for the car. Rlaarlo shipped me a new pinion gear and the USPS delivered the package to the wrong state. I have been going back and forth with Rlaarlo for a month trying to get either a replacement or refund. They absolutely refuse to make this right and keep telling me to contact the post office which I have and am being told that they can not find the package. Rlaarlo is willing to loose a good customer over $20.00. I will be telling everyone to not purchase from these crooks.
Not a good idea at all to take off at full throttle if you know anything about the physics going on in there. Taking off at full throttle creates a huge and sudden surge of electric current in the electric circuit, risking to toast wires and electronic components in two seconds. Apart from that, there is an enormous and sudden force created through the shafts and propellers risking to destroy everything. The safe way to take off from standstill is to start with a little throttle and then gradually increase it.
I burnt out the wing servo motor also with the new controller. You just need to reduce the range to where it barely moves the few degrees it needs to move the wing. My wing now moves with the touch of a button.
Yeah I had mine working temporarily on a channel but the servo burnt up pretty quick. We have one now set to a DX5 Pro and control the pitch with a button.also🍻
Looks good, man. I just got my Mini T today. It's brushed, and it's slower than smoke off crap, but I got the brushless conversion kit with it, so I'll install it and see what happens.
With the Rlaarlo CT8A Transmitter the wing doesnt operate properly. I killed the servo trying to set it up and I reached out to Rlaarlo and they said at the time the CT8A Transmitter is not compatible to operate the wing with normal functions.
