i used to work at a place in the use with basically the same setup. The machine that makes the sand molds and puts in the cores look like the same color of paint ours was, which was a DISA.

Was a similar foundry here in the UK years ago. One day, their electricity bill doubled from £1 Million to 2 and so the foundry closed. No doubt the work going overseas.

I am amazed at the size of this factory, modern gigantism. It seems to me that in its initial stage it is as hot as hell. I just don't understand what kind of car parts it is? It looks like it's made of cast iron, and I don't understand what it's doing.

How do they create metal which doesn’t melt that holds the melted metal. 🧐

It is much harder to do exhaust aftertreatment on a 2 stroke diese as far as I seel. During DPF regeneration for example oxygen has to be limited to prevent DPF overheating. On a 4 stroke diesel they use throttle plate for that. On a two-stroke diesel closing that throttle plate means no scavenging. Would be awesome if someone solved that problem.

Males rank 150% higher in car accident death rates sitting at 246 deaths whereas females sit at 95 for 2023. 341 deaths on NZ roads for 2023. 341 to many. 2023 totals for road deaths in NZ Cyclist = 9. Driver = 182. Motorcyclist 53. Passengers = 72. Pedestrian = 25. Overall the total road deaths for the Main NZ centers in NZ totalled 279 = AKL/BOP/Canterbury/Manawatu/Northland/Waikato WGTN did not total in with a low rate of deaths for 2023 @ 15 deaths on there roads for 2023. The waikato faired not much better as we know from other regions with 67 deaths on NZ roads the worst of the totals for 2023. Canterbury road deaths sit just shy of the AKL 2023 total at 45. Auckland total deaths on the road abysmal at 47 for 2023. Highest death rates for Auckland roads sits at 111 deaths for 2021/2022 combined.
