I'm always fascinated by seeing each person's area of expertise/knowledge of the machinery in use - and how it all comes together so seamlessly to produce a perfect finished product. Love this channel!!

Not in any particular order: automated chemical baths + coating laminate RM cost + plasma-enhanced lamination/deposition tech + pressurized autoclaves + polycarbonate (not a cheap plastic) with various additives + silicon sleeves + automated injection molding cells + automated milling cells + silicon overmolded accoutrement + extremely high quality robust packaging + over 20 assemblers and machine operators per shift + 2-4 QC technicians per shift + supervisors and process engineers and maintenance + office personnel + warehouse/shipping personnel + overhead. Final production rate is around 1 unit per minute (times however many final assembly lines there are, if more than one). The average S. Korean factory worker wage is around 7 USD. For this product, the wages are likely higher, bc clean room conditions. Also, QC techs, supervisors, technical operators, and engineers usually make significantly more. So let's assume average 20 USD wage for the entire facility (including engineers, managers, marketing, etc.), just to make the math easy. Let's also assume a grand total of 40 full-time employees and only a single shift at the company. Let's also assume zero downtime and breaks. That is 30 * (20 USD/hr) / ((1 unit/minute) * (60 min/hr)) = 13.33 USD/unit for just WAGES - and that's almost certainly severe lowballing. Add in raw material, overhead, amortization of capital expenditures, purchased components/packaging, and advertising and I would say costs are closer to 50 USD per unit.
