I think it's humorous when they "cry out" in pain to avoid responsibility for their verbal and physical abuse towards our law enforcement. Protect our officers, please.
The woman with imaginary friends definitely has problems maintaining her grasp with reality. Horrible thing about drugs(if that's the original trigger), is they can bring on psychosis that stays long after the drugs are gone.
There are a lot of assumptions going on here. There are people who have mental issues that don't stem from drugs you know, and there are also people who have mental issues and use drugs to try to ease some of their stress and pain, and then drug use exacerbates their problem. It's not so simple, and immediately jumping to blame drug use is simplistic.
Years ago Tennessee closed all long term mental institutions. Maybe all states did, IDK. Since then our jails, prisons and nursing homes have become de facto mental institutions. It's sad and a drain on these places but I don't see other options.
well, everyone listened to the goody two-shoes, the poly-ticks, and the ACLU on their precious widdle civil rights. my mom worked in psychiatric institutions so i got a very good handle on what these people were like and how they had to be treated. but the goody two shoes seem to think mentals can be treated like normal people. so who is really crazy??
@@jill4806 Wow! That is so backwards! I've heard stories how Red States love guns and when a mass shooting occurs they say "Oh these people need mental help". Such hypocrites!
@@kelseymathias3881 Choices and consequences, this is how it has always been. It is not the past that makes us but the way we face problems and our tendency to find end exploit shortcuts thinking that "we are the first to attempt them" and that nobody will ever knows.
I dunno. Given the current sorry state of our courts, all the way up to the DOJ and Supreme Court..... and that most politicians are (former) lawyers, I'm not surprised.
Damn! That jail house is JUMPING! It's busier then a damn 7-11! Kudos to law enforcement and I hope all of the detainees got their life together. This is why drugs and alcohol needs to be OUTLAWED.
@specialopssoldier1 get out of here troll. Don't you think I already know that 😂. I meant its sad how these losers are just let right back out, to do it again and again. Learn how to read.
That girl got a charge for "unlawful acts of human excrement" for spitting in a cops face. I love when the law uses wording that is overly complicated. 🤣
It’s not really complicated. There’s a bunch of different things that can come out of the human body. Otherwise it would be you’re under arrest for anything from blood to semen or anything else that comes out of us
Especially since excrement actually refers to “the solid waste released from the bowels”. I think she or the cop meant “expectorant”? Because that refers to spitting saliva & mucous from the mouth
1:58 I recognize her from a previous episode where she was placed in a restraint chair complete with a spit mask. She's made a career of being arrested by LV police without a paycheck.
I suspect she's mentally ill, as is the woman she's trying to rile up. Mental illness can cause you to not perceive reality as the rest of us perceive it. It isn't a failing or a weakness on their part, it's just the way it is.
If someone has been convicted of a crime, they should be required to live at a verified address of some kind. If they're homeless, they should be transported to a shelter, psychiatric hospital, insane asylum, addiction treatment facility, or some other location where they have access to a flushable toilet, shower, and a safe place to sleep. If they refuse, they stay in jail. No one should just be dumped out onto the streets.
Some of these people are lucky to be in and out within a few hours. In Canada if you get booked expect a minimum of 8 hours to get through the system on a good day.
They have cops using their handhelds to record them enough that the convicts don't really pick up on it. That or they're just too drunk or crazy to notice.
We actually had pretty good mental health centers until the 1980s, then all (80%) funding was cut and they were all released onto the streets. It's been that way since so now they all end up in jail with law enforcement having to deal with it!
@@Bettinasisrg, it is a really sad situation. Of course drugs are a big part of it. But many are just plain mentally ill. Of all the things to defund????
Love how the officer was like she’s getting a lot more angrier and more emotional because she’s coming down. Now you were making fun of her the whole time. Smfh
Can you imagine how embarrassed you would be, acting like these people, when you sobered up? But most of these people dont feel any sense of that. Entitlement, and no sense of honor or pride.
I would be humiliated if I behaved this way and that's why I wouldn't act like these idiots. Acting up so badly that you have to be carried or wheeled away and put in a cell for a few hours. I've wondered how many of these people found themselves on shows like this and cringe at their own behavior. Nothing but a huge embarrassment to themselves.
Hi Jabbar, thanks for watching! We'll be posting more Jail tomorrow! In the mean time, be sure to check out previous episodes of Jail such as this one: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-4wmzrscJc-o.html
Jennifer has been there 2x in 2 days, and they can't wait to turn her out through the revolving door, can't blame them though. She really should go to the psych ward and not jail, they're the only ones with any chance of helping her. Sad.
I think the first bird was pretty calm after the way that bird was looking at her, that could of been a lot worse, she's lucky she behaved like that with a seasoned criminal that knows how to stay for one night instead of 1yr
Same here, also I don't like embarrassing myself so I would be on my best behavior and do exactly as I'm told so I wouldn't be carried off or wheeled away like some of these people are.
Arresting officer,”he’s too drunk to walk “. Detention officer,” we will give him one chance to walk (even though we know damn well he can’t ) and if doesn’t comply we will put him in the restraint chair, put a spit mask on him and tie him down.” As a sober person I’m confused lol
When will the mental institutions come back?? We have a few but obviously not enough! It's just a shame to have the ones who need them be able to walk the streets.
the way they determine is a person is going to get mental health care is sad. from ecperience working in health care, and having the experience of spending 72 in a facility, was " diagnosed" and prescribed meds. and i have a friend who is bipolar and says he does not need help.
