Actually i think what would be better is if toxic mist paints the floor slowly making it harder for people to get through while dealing damage. It could have the same pattern as ink storm
I think it’d make sense to have the same effect as stepping into enemy ink, (slow DOT, max 40 damage),with bomb resist providing the same effect to mist as ink res does to enemy ink. On top of that, these effects should stack to a total of 80 (without mitigation), giving toxic mist the ability to effectively “trap” an unlucky or unaware opponent due to the ink drain, leaving them high and dry for a quick one tap. Or remove the ink drain in favor for the slow+damage, idk.
No fear "Devs are using ultrastamp as a stand in for baller" *new squiffer could get autobomb+ultrastamp instead of mines+zooka, autobomb+crab/reefslider, or some combination of S1 and S2 kits* One fear
Toxic is weird and definitely not as good as bombs but it has good use cases. It synergizes so well with tri stringer, both the main weapon and also wail, and it's definitely very useful to just throw on tower or rainmaker carrier. And anyways, at least it's not angle shooter, amiright?
That's pretty much how I feel about it, it's not awful as it has it's niches that can make it work and it's nowhere near as bad as angle shooter. It's just simply outclassed by most standard bombs, kinda like how other more niche subs like sprinkler, curling bomb, point sensor, and ink mine to name a couple are somewhat outclassed by standard bombs. The sub could use a buff in some way to improve it, but it's better then some of the other subs imo.

If you do another mythbusters video, I'd like to see if superjumping to a teammate who's using reefslider jumps to their current location, or the start of the special. (If it jumps to their current location it could be insane for clams)
The Luna Neo seems amazing. It’s not perfect but Fizzies are probably the best sub Luna could ask for and Ultra Stamp is a pretty good special pick. Zini is interesting. I feel like Mini Splatling is one of the few weapons where Toxic Mist isn’t actually a terrible pick. Toxic Mist is still undertuned, but this is a weapon that can take advantage of its abilities
Upon discovering the kits for both the Forge Splattershot Pro and the Zink Mini Splatling a.k.a. the Zimi, I figured that Nolan (Pro main), Bagel and Shockwavee (both major splatling users) will be so happy to see old reliable weapons come back in some form…
I'm cautiously optimistic that we won't see anything get Tenta Missiles in this update. There's 13 weapons we're going to see, 15 specials, and we've already seen multiple specials be put on multiple weapons so some specials will not be given to anything new for this patch and especially remembering how one of the first balance patches for the game was taking a small first step towards Nintendo acknowledging how problematic missiles are, I think that Nintendo is not confident enough right now to give anything Tenta Missiles until they figure out something they can do to stop it from being a giant problem for the game and I'm not sure that they're really gonna try that hard to do anything major about it. I'm holding out hope that they'll nerf it for the weapons that have it and either very minimally or never again let something else have it. That being said, Nintendo is really good at making stupid decisions so who knows? But the fact that nothing has seen it so far is giving me hope
Ive played luna a lot and zipcaster works amazing so im interested in seeing how stamp will work on this luna. Fizzy bomb (if it doesnt get nerfed) will be super strong with luna. There are more chances to hit someone with chip which can combo with an indirect
Give toxic mist .5 damage per frame. That way if it kills people it can also paint giving it paint and damage. Also I don’t know why but I remember toxic mist having something inside of it you could attack to make it shrink and get destroyed. Probably just a dream bu this would be a good way to balance it if they give it disrupters effect
3:12 - "I hope Stamp's not off the table..." They would be WILDING if they decided to give two Dualies the Reefslider, but then look at Blasters and say "ehhh we already have one with ultra stamp". That'd be messed up.
Looks like luna neo is just gonna be luna+fizzy with the occasional thrown ultrastamp because I see people not giving a damn about the special with that main+sub combo
Looking back it's really funny that they actually gave Pro Suction/Booyah in this game. Even after KPro was deleted from existence, they still kept finding ways to nerf it long after it'd been kicked from the meta.
I think toxic mist could be really good on inkbrush if it got buffed because inkbrush is kinda fragile so your opponent shooting less ink is good for it and since inkbrush is very fast making your opponent slower can be good because it can almost guarantee 1v1 battles
The "shooting less ink" part is only true if they were low on ink to begin with or are forced to use their sub as while mist prevents them from refilling ink and slightly depletes their tank, if they are near full to begin with then they can just shoot you anyways. This is a very effective strategy on tower control though given how limited their options are while riding on the tower to begin with
@@aronspiker72 I am positive when I first started to play the game I got stuck in a toxic mist with my ink tank almost full and when I tried to shoot their were less bullets, but I might be wrong. I'll fact check it.
Stamp isn’t bad. It can be good if you know how to use it as it’s been buffed. It can even block reefslider explosions, which is a very cool thing I found.
Fizzy Is such a fun sub weapon. If you catch someone off guard/just lob the thing at max charge you can surprise kill a lot of people. Even just throwing one for the single burst is nice if you land the main hit
I think toxic mist should not deal damage but paint the enemy’s feet so its harder to get out of and traps low ink weapons easier, and the passive damage from being in enemy ink will essentially be the damage it does. This way its still fair if they have ink but you can really be caught off guard by it if you’re out of position, also means they don’t gotta change much and stops disruptor fully coming back as an alternative
Another stamp? Hmmm… I guess there aren’t a lot of stamp kits in the first place but idk, I feel like a lot of kits are starting to have this, and I don’t think it would be practical for Luna but, you never know?
The only pro to the Splattershot Pro is that it's easier to use than the squeezer if you use sticks, because it is really hard to use the sticks to aim if you are also tap firing.
If Shot gets Missiles, I will go out of my way to buy one of the new, janky Pokémon games because of how depressing that is. I thought Splatoon 2 was gone but they brought back specials that weren't Stamp and Booyah
Stamp has like, no synergy with Luna the devs were asleep when they made this kit lol. It's not absolute garbage, but there were like, 7 specials that would have been AMAZING on Luna and they instead decided the worst special with very little synergy. If the third kit doesn't get curling... Anyway, I'm going to try to own the Stamp but GOSH DARNIT NINTENDO YOU HAD ONE JOB
I 100% agree with you - it's just not good enough and the fact that it needs buffs to even cover a niche says alot. I haven't thought about comparing it with the other blasters, that's even sadder to see. What's especially sad is that with this kit, both good subs which Luna can get use of are reserved for kits which are mediocre at best. They don't even need to introduce a third Luna kit because it will have a bad sub weapon anyways. Burst Bomb would be broken, so it won't get it, and every other sub weapon is meh. Well, I'm ready for the Ink Mine + Tacticooler kensa Luna kit in 3 months. :D
the new luna is probably better than the old one due to zipcaster being less useful. And the forge pro is leagues better than the stock pro, due to it having line marker anything is better than line marker.
So: Cherry H3 Ballpoint Probably Custom Jr Probably never gonna happen but they might give it to Kunder because the devs clearly have a vendetta against Brellas Clash Gloogas Blaster 3rd Dapples kit because that weapon has literally the worst luck in the entire game with its kits
