Fun fact for the story mode: if you have octo expansion, the appearance of captain 3 in splat 3 is directly taken from what you made agent 3 look like in that game.
@@splegoon4289 that’s fair, but I couldn’t help laughing anyway. Honestly my run was really similar. Nearly completed 1 and 2, then just rushed the rest because I was tired of people posting story spoilers.
@@russstiltner3918 And that's why I stayed my ass off the internet. Plus, I noticed as I was completing levels that ORCA was analyzing the Alterna logs, and that gave me incentive to complete every stage I could find.
The first few levels were kinda funny because you can see the competitive impulses like throwing little buddy for no reason because you're used to having a splat bomb or shooting at the ground in front of you despite it already being completely inked
@@ItzPaydayFellas I think it does "high rank". Although, this is coming from someone who used to roleplay as a Roblox hotel worker, where high ranks were reffered to as HRs, and I could be entirely wrong. (I only did it for like 4 days before quitting, it was the most boring thing in the world.)
They implemented chaos as more of a chaotic blend of culture in splatsville so I don't think the story mode would've changed much except for deep cut being absent

Fourth character to swear? I know Pearl did when she was in the band she got kicked out off prior to forming Off The Hook with Marina, and Jellfonzo had the whole Fuck You Tuesday thing going on, who was the third? For me its the best base single player campaign, but isn't as good as Octo Expansion and I do wish it had something to collect outside of power eggs in some (probably not all because how do you add it to the single shot one?) of the levels rather than all the exploration pickups being outside of the levels, even if not sunken scrolls. Particularly enjoyed how the bosses gradually went further and further from what we've come to expect from Splatoon boss fights until we got literally a Mario Sunshine boss followed by what may as well have been the final boss in Sonic Adventure (followed closely by a weird Starfox/Wario Ware hybrid as you shave a bear while in what's all but a rail shooter) (As for Salmon Run, the Grizz radio is reversed so it's a salmon eating a bear after story mode, and it's apparently implied that Lil Judd has assumed the identity of Mr Grizz to run Grizzco from the headset he gets after story mode when judging multiplayer matches but I do not remember him _not_ having that in Splatoon 3)
So like... I know that Tenta missiles are not the best designed, But it hurts me every time you get them and subsequently die inside. I find them extremely fun, I mean, you're spewing lots of missiles all at once. Yes, they are imbalanced, but they make me feel like a weapon of mass destruction. you could cut their damage to almost nothing, and I would still love them.
Ya know, something told me, just from the presence of Lil Buddy alone, that *_[SPOILER ALERT]_* Mr Grizz would prolly be the bad guy. But I still didn't expect it.
I always burn out on the story mode in splatoon, I think this one is better then the other ones but I can only do it for like an hour, I’m at area 5 tho so not heaps left
I wonder if the game works similar like super Mario 64’s boss staircase where it keeps going on and on forever until you complete certain conditions, except in splatoon it’s with the dialogue
