Cool! Thanks! We typically only push the ls3 and l99 cars to about this level on the stock rods and pistons. Especially the l99 cars with the 6l80. The biggest priority is having the cars be reliable.
Matt Peckham yeah, my shops are telling me the same too. Plan on being around the same numbers when we boost ours too. Been running a boost cam with my N/A setup for a while. Thanks for the video so we can know what to expect with the outcome.
Fuel system is ZL1 in-tank pump, aux secondary pump and 1200cc injectors. If you street drive it on street tires you could get away with just upgraded axles. If the car is raced on slicks or drag radials we always recommend a ZL1 diff and axle setup with a one piece driveshaft. A stock 6l80e can handle 700 whp for a while with good tuning.
@@ApeMotorsports i have a 2014 with a cam with 615 lifts on it i wanna get up to around 11-12psi on e85. the guy from procharger said on a stock lower 7.65 pulley i should be around 3.7 on the top pulley. just trying to get ideas so i can get to the right numbers.
@@ApeMotorsports p1sc. so i called back to procharger cause im making 7lbs on a 3.90 pulley they said i need to drop down to a 3.40 pulley to get up to 12lbs .
For a p1sc that's about right. Pulley sizes I was referring to were for a d1sc. A p1sc will be working pretty hard at that pulley ratio. You'll have to keep engine rpm below 6800. That's just over 62,000 rpm impeller speed which is max for a p1sc.
Yo hit me up on IG ASAP. I’m Station in VA right now. I need to know what I need to get to 600rwhp. I have my cam and headers and exhaust already installed.
