The transmission is holding up great after 25,000+ miles and with just basic maintenance. I don't own the truck anymore but do all the work on it. The FLT Level 7 MP is a beast if you want to stay with the 4L70E and not bother with a 4L80E swap. Although, if I were doing it all again, I'd do the 80 and be done...
I want my SS running just like this one. Only thing I would do different is put the 20" chrome factory boys on it... This the best TBSS burnout video on RU-vid.
The four main components of a centrifugal supercharger are the volute, diffuser, impeller and transmission. The centrifugal supercharger draws its power from the movement of the drive where it is attached. At this point, the supercharger powers an impeller - or small rotating wheel. The impeller draws air into volute and centrifugal force sends the air into the diffuser. The result is air that is highly pressurized, but that travels at low speed
Timmy, it has a cam, meth, headers, dual 3" exhaust, fully built FLT trans, Yank 3600 converter, a bunch of other crap, and a D-1SC Procharger at 10psi... It made just over 600awhp before I pulled the motor which is in process of building now...
@ItzReece Since this is not a 4.2 Trailblazer, I have no idea what you will need. To my knowledge, there is no one that makes a bracket to mount (or a system for) a Procharger and the 4.2 I6...You will have to buy a Procharger headunit and find someone to make you a one-off bracket and entire system...
@ElKush90 The truck is back up and running with a fully forged motor, more boost, and lots of other goodies! It's really turning into a show truck, but I will be running it at the track this spring!
Hey everyone, we put the link in the description, but Procharger picked this video as one of the finalists for their annual Procharger Video Challenge! Please click on the link and go vote for us and help us win! Thank you!
@ElKush90 You really don't want to know how much I have into it dude...Plus, doing all my own fabrication, labor, installation work, design, and my boy doing all the custom tuning doesn't have a price tag...but the run the 11.520 pass it ran in the same form of this video, $15,000-17,000 in parts easily!
@thatkid360 House of Boost out of Lenexa, KS makes a kit, but I just used the bracket system and we built our own completely custom system, all plumbing, intercooler, etc. is custom!
