Does not matter how often I hear this song which is everyday I still love it. Love the guy playing the organ .This is such a classic song many memories for me being with my sisters.
The Pyramids of Egypt will crumble and this song will still be remembered as one of the masterpieces of human genius!✨✨✨✨🙏🙏🙏🙏✨✨✨❤️🎹🎸🎻🥁🎵🎼🎶🎵🎼🎵🎶🎵🎼🎵🎼🎵🎵🎶🎶🎶🎵🎼
One of the most perfect songs ever written. It's been covered by many but Gary Brooker and the Procol Harum's version is genius. The classic Hammond organ enhanced with that Leslie still give me goose bumps at 78. Never get tired of hearing it and playing it on my Hammond T5. RIP Gary.... Easy to see why it sold over 10 million copies!!!
BANDAS MARAVILHOSAS 👏💕🌞💯✨☀️🌟
BEAUTIFULLY SAID! I WAS THE SAME TOO! THIS SONG KINDA GOT INTO MY HEAD FOR HOURS EVERY NIGHT BEFORE I COULD SLEEP! LIKE 2AM!NO WONDER I WAS ALWAYS LATE FOR SCHOOL HAHA

Gary still looks and sounds amazing! Always had a huge crush on him. More than ever ! That silvery mane, twinkling blue eyes and whiskey voice... Just my type! 😍😘
Fuzzy Butkus it's all about personal choice, for me this is the best song of all time but not my favourite artist and I only have the live in Denmark cd.
It is a Beautiful song and Gary's Voice, like a fine wine, has only gotten better. There is a 2008 version with him singing live with a full orchestra. If you ever liked this song you owe it to yourself to listen to it. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-St6jyEFe5WM.html
This song takes me to a place that transcends space and time. It feels to me like I was there wherever this song originated from. A feeling I am unable to express. The only song that makes me feel this way.
This song is from my generation , I was there when this song was released , I was 13, it was school break up and a dance party in one of the classrooms, this song was playing and I danced with a girl I had never met before . I never forgot her and never forgot this song . I never saw her again . This song brings tears to my eyes. I can play it on piano .

We skipped the light fandango Turned cartwheels 'cross the floor I was feeling kinda seasick But the crowd called out for more The room was humming harder As the ceiling flew away When we called out for another drink The waiter brought a tray And so it was that later As the miller told his tale That her face, at first just ghostly Turned a whiter shade of pale She said, 'there is no reason And the truth is plain to see But I wandered through my playing cards And would not let her be One of sixteen vestal virgins Who were leaving for the coast And although my eyes were open They might have just as well've been closed And so it was that later As the miller told his tale That her face, at first just ghostly Turned a whiter shade of pale
This song was my accompanies in my adolescense age, in times of sad, nostalgy and diaappointment. Thank Gary for all that you gave us through your songs. You are a legend!
@@josele003 I have to agree with that. An older voice has a timbre that can't be there at a young age. I absolutely think he sounded better here. My favorite rendition is the 2006 Denmark video, with full orchestra.
. Música e atemporal , boa ou ruim e infelizmente a maioria e ruim
A classic rock song that will never die, the haunting melodies and deep lyrics has made this one of the most played songs in the history of rock and roll and in all the rock history .. only 30 singles have sold 10 million copies world wide this is one .. they don't write these anymore...
Yes.. nobody could anymore write a so similar nice singular song as this, just what i liked very much.. Howevere i' m a great melodic songwriter as even musical Poet to be considered... Broke wrote great songs.. but i get of more romantic by transcendal feeling, i consider. Today public is unable to consider correctly the musical mood, so it is difficult to let know about other sweet new songs, because are changed time event, and there aren' t anymore great songs that could be performef by great goups, and have too success in melodic music. However i have great songs keept, some of them could be considered as primary in pop or beat sound.. Bye (Sergio Paliotti by Rome)
