i guess Im randomly asking but does anyone know a tool to log back into an Instagram account?? I was stupid lost the password. I appreciate any assistance you can give me!
No one is saying he is better than any other producer. He is just the only one who can continuously make a beat live on the MPC and he is the best at doing that.
ya he is, he is without a doubt the BEST on the MPC.. ive never seen anyone rip it like him.. he even does dubstep and other genres of music on it.. hes a true artist
Thank you for this awesome video, and i want to ask you what is the name of the program that you are using to produce your beats? ...i ask you because now i'm creating my own music beats with BTV program ...and after that my music is uploaded directly on my youtube channel ... and the complete music production studio cost me only $1 and my Mac
+DJ Putina 1st mistake: Your using a mac. People tend to think MACs are the best just because their expensive but their not. Their just overpriced and are easily beat with any other windows PC and the same pricepoint. Their also not the best when it comes to content creation.
+Michael Scott no offence but i installed hackintosh on my pc ( bought another ssd for it) just for the content creation tools , thats kind of it xcode , final cut x , logic pro x , a lot of ios developing tools too
Dread Shade No need to say no offense. You too are just sharing your opinions. And if a person where to install a hackintosh on a PC and dual boot then I completely fine with that. What I really don't understand is those people that use it as their daily driver.
The key is having the imagination to hear it all at once-Technically any drummer or piano player should be able to play the kit that he's set up on his MPC n come up with something, but the difference with the MPC as an instrument is that it's one person playing all of the sounds of a multi-track song on one instrument simultaneously- It takes a producers ear to pull it off- the talent to play both drumset and piano at the same damn time but most importantly--listen to dope jazz LPs--start there
Beats are cool I like the simple beats myself where emcees can rhyme and not get outshined by the beat. Premo, Large Pro Alchemist is what I like.. But raw is raw and Araab is nice.
The 2500 appears to be the weapon of choice for a lot of these guys. I'm curious to know why ? Guess the 4000 has more features so why do these guys prefer the 2500 ?
Trust me, I hope you don't get it. I'm a writer so I type about 50,000 keystrokes a day and I don't have it. It's definitely true that there's a genetic component. And some people won't ever get it. But how old are you? If you're about 33 then you really have no idea yet. And like I said, it's a huge problem in the pianist community. The only reason I even bother to respond is that once you see get the real deal, you realize it's way too fucking painful/scary/debilitating to not take seriously.
I'm pretty sure the 2500 is more compact and lighter (and less expensive) than the 4000 + it's the smallest MPC with a full size set of pads. I guess that probably has something to do with it? Portability vs features, the 2500 (and the 1000 if you like the smaller pads) probably have the best balance.(IMO)
@PedicPranks woah! Calm down man, it was only a joke. Do you have to be so serious? If you were out with some mates and they told a joke, would you interupt the laughter and talk about how this is reality? I'm not trying to be funny with the last sentance, I'm just wandering why you got so serious?
@MadlibIsBlunted get in touch with him then..? or go to one of his shows....he blatently isn't fake otherwise producers/artists and that would'nt be so amazed and wouldn't want to work with him...ahha! stop hatin cuz u aint got nothing goin on in ur life...
Just for the record, pianist get carpal tunnel all the time. it doesn't mean you or he will get it, but it's enough of a problem for a pianists that it's not really making the point you want it to...
dudes got skill alot of people that are super impressed by araab are kids that dont really know anything about mpc production lol i still rate araab though kids all good
there's nothing exciting or anything like that about this kind of "skill". pure, stupid hype around a technique developed years ago with the same machine.
this cat has way to much hype aint nothing revolutinary about his beats as someone said dude needs some humble pie im not hating i do dig alot of his beats
I was just watching this as it was in the automatically generated suggestions (no doubt; because I have watched Araab vids before). This said, what made me actually sign in and leave a comment is the fact that he doesn't go over the top with the speed he hits the pads in this video. Normally he goes really fast which I feel acts to his detriment (but is generally a crowd pleaser going on what I have seen in terms of live videos). Anyway props and if Araab you read this pls keep it slow, one.
I Ching: Modesty creates success. He's very talented, but I lose a lot of respect when I hear people talk about how how awesome they are and everywhere they go women throw their panties at them, etc. I remember seeing a very similar interview with Billy Ray Cyrus in the 90's, nothing but him yapping about how he's "arrived" and he's so great. You don't get much time in the lime light, use it to say something more valuable to the human race than "yeah I'm totally rad".
Wtf, nothing like it? Are you kidding me? His music's ok at best, but definitely nothing special or new. It's the same old dime a dozen mpc/drum machine driven sampled loop hip hop everyone makes. Grammatik does his style much better than he does just as one example. Looks like we have another kanye on our hands, with an ego far exceeding his talent... Well I guess I guess I shouldn't go that far, AM has at least some talent. Just nothing we haven't seen a million times before.
I am impressed that you managed to count to two, but I think you might have copy/pasted my comment. Also, next time you try to make a point, try spelling you're* correctly. I'm guessing you dropped out of second grade to become a 16 year old baby mama/stripper though so I can't really blame you on that one. Lastly, if you are quoting me on how monotonous and simplistic his beats are, then are you agreeing with me? If so then why are YOU on her videos?
i agree about the samples and effects but you gotta give him credit on the fact that his phrasing is phenomenal and his compositions are pretty progressive at times.. and you gotta remember he's not doing hiphop hes doing mainstream rap music and the artist he works with an the masses are used to hearing cheesy shit....i dont agree that he's u his ass he says its a blessing for him at least he's not rubbing it in peoples faces saying he's better than anyone else......yet
sampling is a fundamental piece of hip hop and its obvious you need talent to take bits and pieces of the classics and make your own classic but thats not what topshotta is saying.... what he saying is that he needs to get his head out his ass... i cannot and will not respect someone that does not respect where he got his sounds from.... for instance 9th wonder will reiterate time again the "art" behind sampling... but when he makes a beat he'll be like yeah this sound i got from this song
lol what's all this talk of plug ins and attitude, dude there samples and shizz, no plug ins bro, just live, i can't do it, and i dont care, he's doing his thing, just think if everyone listened to what people said, nobody would be stepping out and doing what they were destined to do...and yeah attitude is everything, but when you're confident in your abilities, i can be taken as cockyness, as long as you don't diss people when they come to you as a person, there is nothing wrong in confidence
Dang yo , dude is good ! If your that good you can be a little cocky . I personally would've had to record those beats slow , then speed up the tempo and edit . This dude did everything in real time , that means he's better than good ! I don't understand why you feel he's too cocky for your taste (sounds like a hater to me) , but Imma go to your page and see if you have the same or not better skills before I say anything . Who knows , you may be better where you can talk trash ........
Yeah he comes off as cocky, but he's up there with other finger drummers like David "Fingers" Haynes and Jeremy Ellis (look 'em up). I consider musicians like them to be like percussionists as well as producers. It's just the instrument isn't as widely accept by the mainstream like "real drums" are. Give it time, and the public will learn to respect and accept them as musicians and artists by their own merits.
My point exactly. Who gives a shit? You can do the same exact thing in FL or Reason. It's neat that you can make beats with your hands, but it's a pretty useless skill as far as producing goes. This is the same Hip-Hop shit we've been hearing on the radio since 2006, just with a different person singing and sold in a differently colored box. Yngwie Malmsteen can play the guitar fast as fuck, but who do think people will remember in 100 years? Malmsteen or McCartney?
I sold my MPC 2000 to a wonderful kid many years ago, a talented musical flame with lots of ideas he had when we were at collage, me myself was more of a House, electronic boy. anyways, we become good friends i took good care of him like a younger brother, hope he’s made good use of APC and i hope to see him on youtube 1 day like this great talent. peace and love people.
there's no doubting araabmuzik's talent on the mpc - he's golden. but goddammit that fucking ego of his just ruins it for me. to me, best beatmaker and true artist out there today is hands down, Flying Lotus. completely different style of music, but an original and creative musician, and a mellow kinda guy too.
OH yeah his phrasing is good. But even in his earliest videos he was still using cheesey sounds and samples, he hasn't changed his style since he's been working in the mainstream....which, I suppose, he's to be applauded for....kind of. And sorry to disagree but I don't believe that "hip-hop=underground, rap=mainstream". Hip-hop is the culture, rap is the music. Maybe.
He's got skills undoubtedly but he uses the cheesiest fucking effects and samples, jeez! I don't think he'd know a decent snare if it punched him in the face. I know people'll probably hate this comment but I just think he's emblematic of the man ways in which hip-hop went wrong.... And he's up his own arse.
he is good at putting together drums, and I don't mean the pace, listen to hammer dance by slaughterhouse, the drums perfectly suit the sample, thats what makes him so good, and plus not many people have videos of themself using the MPC, I'm not sure if people have done it before, but he kinda made it a trend
lol you obviously haven't watched him play the MPC or tried it yourself. have you listened to hip-hop? most beats are mixed sampled material with a drum track on top. they typically don't play it "one note at a time." some make beats from scratch.. some don't. if it's so easy, why aren't you doing it? you could be raking in some serious cash if you had skills like that.. ha. IF.
It's actually not difficult at all. Playing a real instrument is by far more difficult I assure you. You are actually PHYSICALLY creating the sound whether it be a mallot striking a piano chord or strumming a guitar. This my friend is a computer playing back a sound. It is not very different then stacking 10 CD players on top of each other and pressing play/pause.
Well this guy is quite an irony to say the least, every one is praising him for his so called mad skills on the MPC, but he is just a real musucian who has used his training on keyboard and real drums to pressing the buttons on a machine with sounds from samples. real musicians do this kind of thing 50 billion times a day on real instruments.... Hello!!!!!
His beats are off. They always are every time I see him. It sounds cool, but the timing is clearly off. Esp when he starts playing fast. It's all I can hear unfortunately.. for digital music it sounds f'ed up for the beats to be off even a hair. It's probably not his fault though no one's really made a pad unit that responds perfect every time that I know of.
@xMiStyleZ lots of producers start out playing real drum-kits namsaying. look around yo.. we in 2012!!! Sound manipulation is the ability to mimic and distort noise, replicate frequencies, and create sonic blasts of devastating proportions. mpc's are for the future nahmean. keep your real drum-kit.. that shit's been done.
Finally at 3:02 he changes the tempo. Seems like all hip hop now has this same cookie cutter tempo & using the rolling snare drum. All sounds like Rick Ross shit. Take out that stupid female who sounds exactly like the one who says, "Maybach Music" and it's tight.
Ellis is godlike when it comes to hitting pads fast, but his music is crap. It's a weird fusion of jazz, r&b, and whatever else. Speed alone doesn't make a great performer, too. There have been many guitarists who had only average technical fingering skill, yet they were very successful performers.
im not hating on araab at all matter fact i think he's one of the greatest drummers out there but just think if you were drumming since you were 3 and producing music since you were 12 and you got into beat battles and practiced every day like araab your bound to be successful
@videochamp its justa midi controller not a beat pad you can get ne kind midi for also low as 50 bucks and make music like this if you have thw skill real beat pads have trs cables ininputs in the back like a gutair cord plug in n those have the acutal drum sounds in them
Such Harsh Words, For the people that Commented and For there Reward they gained 2 likes, Splended Indeed Fine Man. For me Dear Sir I Need Nothing But my Master, Because I am one hell of a Butler. My Master is Calling, I Bid you Farewell.
okay. record yourself making a complete song that ANYONE would enjoy listening to using 10 CD players and pressing play/pause. he is actually PHYSICALLY hitting each pad on the MPC to trigger a sound. i would consider it an instrument.
hey don't hate cause you can't do what he does, you only hate you must be a sucker that tries to make it but you fail everytime. He's makin money and your not.... man thats gotta suck for you! As a true producer would say "check yo shit at the door"
His beats are weak, listen to him and old Rza or Bomb Squad tracks, these tracks are simple two layer tracks. I'm old school give me those 20 sample tracks any day. I mean listen at 3:30, it's basically two or three samples, not that impressive.
1. He was in my related searches list. So no, I didn't type her name in. 2. It takes 10 seconds to post/reply on RU-vid. I don't know how long it takes you to type, clearly a long time, but it takes me about 10 seconds.
Plenty of people have done what he's done before, he just managed to show the right people at the right time and get noticed. He's nothing special and his sampling work is below average I reckon so why the hell is he famous?
I just went to dude (wbhovey) page and whooola , cartoons .... No disrespect ment to him or anybody but before you call a person cocky for talking about they're skills , show that you have some better ......
He isn't saying that he was "born" with his MPC skills, he is saying that he already knew the drums since age 3 so it was obviously a lot easier for him to start out playing the MPC. I don't blame him for coming off cocky.
I wish i could friend, it was many years ago. thats quite siick your making beats the way u are, its the old school way of cutting audio and mashing it together very clever stuff. have you got anything on utube??
