The girl at the end is Soyeon. She has been writing and producing the majority of (G)I-dle's music since the group debuted 5 years ago. I think you'd be interested to hear the previous title track that she made "Nxde". It was a massive hit in South Korea and quite different.
Queencard may not seem like it (AT FIRST) because it's one of their more mainstream-fitting songs but (G)I-DLE is the extremely different you're looking for. They're the most feminist group in KPOP right now, and all their songs preach self love and speak about topics such as the sexualization and objectification of women in the entertainment industry (Listen to NXDE if you're interested in this message). Furthermore, they're a self-made group, they write, produce, and compose nearly all of their songs, and Queencard was just a fun little break for them as Soyeon explained. But their albums "I Burn" and "I Love" are some of their most artistic works and I think they're both definitely worth checking out for you. ( + A little bonus - Soyeon, the groups main rapper, leader, executive producer, composer, lyricist, etc etc works with an ALL female group for their comebacks.)

I have an army for more than 3 years and never got attracted to any group because i wanted someone like bts, and here i got gidle. These Girlies are so amazing, they stand by what they portray in their music and that is the best thing for me. Also they are involved in the creative works is the most important thing for me. I believe that an artist or a group should write their songs or at least help in the creative processes because that makes people believe that they stand by what they say through their music.
I love G-Idle and so happy for their success with this comeback, honestly they deserve it. Blake there's another group that I personally love and they ALWAYS do something that is TOTALLY different. If you're looking for some unique KPOP girl groups, (G)I-DLE is definitely one of them! This is actually probably one of their most "mainstream" title tracks, but id think you love most of their previous works like Nxde, Lion, Oh my god, HWAA, etc. And like many comments have said they're completely self-produced and have messages in their lyrics that are really new and bold for kpop!
Regarding your comments about everything having the same structure, have you checked out Bang Bang Bang by BigBang? When that song came out everyone was SHOOK, like you will never guess where the chorus goes from the verses. Admittedly, that was in 2015 and not recently, but it's still always what I think of when I think of musical whiplash lmao😂
If you want a song that has an unexpected song structure you should react to “Red Light” by f(x), they were a very experimental group and had some crazy music. Also “Zimzalabim” by Red Velvet which is soooo trippy, and had mixed when released bc of how crazy it was.

KPOP really needs a girl group like 2NE1 to switch up the game. It’s in danger of becoming over saturated, the 2016 Reggaeton era really destroyed music world wide with the beat drops (obviously started in 2013 but only became prevalent in 2016). I don’t think POP/Punk is going to cut it. There needs to be a massive change possibly in the realm of going back to Ballads/RNB Pop because we have lost vocal ability and catchy Melodie’s for visuals and Instrumental production. We haven’t had a huge RnB pop song since 2009 in SK and 2013 in America. It’s due for a refresh.

The group that is considered by many/most i'd say to be something different in kpop is NewJeans. When the group debuted last year, they've literally started to destroy all the charts and their songs were battling each other for the first place on many of them, just a few months after even debuting, that's how big of an impact they have because of the above - they're different, fresh. The whole concept is different, the music has a different feel, and the MVs are masterpieces, especially "Ditto" and "OMG". I don't follow your patreon nor channel that much i'm gonna be honest, but if you didn't react to them yet, i'd recommend you to do it.
