I feel similarly, I've watched a lot of kpop groups over the years and for me BTS has always just hit different, especially in chapter 2. Over the past year they've released so much music that has so much heart in it, a part of their essence... and it translates, you can feel it when you hear it. It's not just music thrown together without a specific purpose. A lot of people always claim to miss the old BTS but I personally love the old and the new... I love that their sound is constantly changing. I hope they change everything up again when they come home in 2025. We love an artist who constantly push their limits and are never content to sit in the same old box.

True! An artist w/ one color is good & can always stick to what he/she does great. But an artist who can excel to all colors is remarkable. The music they make is always changing, fitting to what was needed during that time, & can always go back & forth to all d styles they're making. It's just incredible. Their music reallt translates to what is needed to be felt by d audience. The intention of their music is very clear every single time.

I've always called BTS as pop genre chameleons, the way they switch anywhere from Dionysus to Boy With Luv to Blood Sweat Tears to Take Two. It all feels authentic and the music is handled with care and skill

When I first heard the song, I was in tears 😭 their voices sound so beautiful together, I missed hearing the 7 of them on a track, I could tell their vocals improved. I think when we see them together as 7 again they will be stronger artists, this solo period is allowing the members to grow/improve

yep, i totally get that feeling...rewatching those series the 2nd time will make so much sense and the awe that you feel for them will intensify, and it'll just feel like going back to the old times even if you weren't there from the start😌
Thing is with time their sound always have evolved for the better. They as a team as well, learned how to incorporate each vocal, style better in 1 song and how to make each vocal irreplacable in the song. Their songs are not just stacked up pieces that you could pick apart easily full of seperate parts just coming together, but a cohesive piece that works together. And also the fact that Suga produces this (with El Capitxn), is also telling, that how much he knows his member's attributes, how to make their voices sometimes dependent on eachoher or shine on their own whenever he wishes. He knows their singing characteristics to the Z. I think 2nd chapter is where their sound is the best. I think some people miss either "harder" genres like the School trilogy (even though we have songs like that still) or some miss message concepts? But people also forget that 2020 was to be "it" for a while, so when they comeback, in 2025/6/7 whenever, the next OT7 cb will be full on BTS mode but i hope as always, even more evolved and changed with their own unique sounds

I describe it as a HUGE hug they're giving us for the 10 years Army have loved and supported them in so many ways. Jimin's fans are obsessed with the live version. Jin's harmony in the original sound was perfect. His throat was in a bad condition during the live version.That's why jimin sang a lot of harmony except for Jin's harmony.
I think their voices are so clear and easily identifiable because the song was produced by SUGA (and El Capitxn). He knows their voices better than almost anyone. It's a very nostalgia song for the fans. Thanks for reacting!
there's just something about bts that makes them stand out. I really believe it's their authenticity, humility and distinctiveness that really sets them apart from so many artists. The way their songs make you feel, that warm, positive, and motivating feeling - I just can't compare it with anything else I've experienced in music

This song does have a lot of references to celebrate the 10 years, and maybe if you aren't fan is harder to understand all of them. But I can tell you this one was written by Jhope and RM and Yoongi produced it. If you want to, they have uploaded a live version of this song and is incredible to see them belt those high notes like nothing.
