the great thing about day6 is that the lyrics might be sad but they don't make depressing music, the melodies are usually uplifting except when they're leaning to more hard rock stuff. like in somehow and talking to, the lyrics are sad but the music itself isnt, and that's the healing factor. of course they have their i need somebodys and i waits too but their softer songs aren't just soft

you’re right when you say that we like day6’s music because we can relate to it and find a connection to it. i was in a particular moment of my life when i felt like there wasn’t any meaning to what i was doing, but when i found day6’s songs, they felt like an expression of emotion i could actually relate to. what’s lovely about their music is also that they go through an entire spectrum of emotions in their discography, and i can find a day6 song that i can hold onto in my mind whenever i need something to find comfort in ❤️

omg dont make me cry. day6 is really the only artist that when i listen to their music, i feel better after a depressive episode or if im stressing about something and i have full blown anxiety going on. their music really helps me. i really dont know what it is about their sound, i just love it so much. my all time favorite day6 song is "i'm serious", and it's my all time favorite because whenever i play it, my mood lifts up. its so weird ajdkajs i just really enjoy their music and the band as a whole.

"HOT DOG"...a mood 😂😂 and you are so right, PD. For me Day6's music is healing for my soul. I feel comforted when I listen to them. This feeling of lonliness I have from time to time, is more bearable (is this even a word?) with Day6. If I need a good cry, if I need to bawl my eyes out, give me "I Need Somebody" "I'll try" "Colors" etc. and I'm good. After listening to it I always feel better and can move on. 💕

Now I've just started to crave so much more for Dowoon. They've appeared multiple times in variety show and I sure as hell know that he can't rap or sing as good as his hyungs but that just means that he got in the group purely because of his skills. I just wish they'll treasure him more, you can't just waste such talent.

I've only been into Kpop for a year and overall Kpop has completely changed my life and meeting Day6 has just been this amazing emotional experience and I just really love them deeply in my soul!! I'm really happy I was able to get P1 for their concert. PD fighting, Day6 fighting!

All of my fave bands are the ones with lyrics that I can relate to most: Linkin Park, OneRepublic, 5FDP, Muse, Shinedown, Nothing But Thieves, The Script, and in this league of legends, there's DAY6. I love them by heart, they're super special to me. They're super talented and I can see them at the top in the future. Being at the top doesn't mean "extraordinary view counts" or "extraordinary album sales" for me. Top means where you're remembered, adored and admired.

This was the first Day6 album I listened to, and I loved it so much. I agree when mentioned it had a 2008’s Alternative Rock feel, probably why I dig it so much. It’s a great album! I now stan! Also, I love that you know a bit of the discography of the JoBros 😂😂 I also used to stan 💜

you rlly hit me in the feelings talking abt relatable music! realized why i cry every time i hear you are by got7! cause i'm longing for the kind of happiness and love that the song is about!

Day6's lyrics are relatable to a ridiculous level and this is why - I have never gone through a single negative thing in my privileged fucking life and I STILL relate to them. I have never fallen in love (except for one (1) unfortunate crush that went on for too long but I escaped relatively unscathed) and never been in a relationship, and hence never broke up, bUT I CRY SO MUCH AT THESE LYRICS. Day6's lyrics are so fucking incredible that listening to their heartbreaking, heartwrenching, absolutely devastating break-up songs MAKES me want to fall in love, purely because I want to feel that kind of all-consuming love for someone even if it ends in heartbreak. It's astounding how they can make me feel this way honestly. Brian is a goddamn lyrical genius and I LOVE HIM
