I actually prefer this one over Latata, something about this song feels very....soothing? Idk the right word for it

I like it more than Latata. Latata is good but it feels a bit more like...trendy?? in terms of its production. Hann feels like art.

not gonna lie was anxiously waiting for your reaction to their new song!! absolutely loved it :’) hann for me was better than latata, and i was afraid it was gonna be like latata, but i’m glad hann was not the case, i love so much more. but i do agree, theyre creating a brand, their sound for themselves. everyone looked so good too esp soojin, her part is my favorite. i hope you do listen to gidle’s sidetracks, i think their sidetracks are pretty impressive for a group that recently debuted!

As I said on Patreon: I have to disagree with you on the set design needing to be more full. I believe it hammers home the theme of isolation in the song. The moving on, being strong, independence. I think it's reflected well in the set design. The lack of color could arguably tie in to that, talking about how the blue has become sad, mentions of "cold", love is darkness and can't be turned back. Just my thoughts. With that said, I'm glad you seemed to enjoy the song otherwise! Thanks for the great reaction as usual! :)

At first I thought this was a good song. But after listening to it more and more I think they blew expectations away. I love this song. The thing that gets me hyped every time is when one of the girls says "HANN" theres something about it that as a musician I melt every time I hear it. the auto tune helps it too

What i can say that g idle gonna just be bigger and i am not surprise if they gonna be among top 3 gg in future. And the fact that soyeon produce their own songs, they definitely gonna have own sound. I think thats good and its amazing that they are only still rookies!

The G is silent, I believe it was Yuqi that explained it in en episode of After School Club that it's a play on words in korean. Something about it meaning a "group of individuals"? I will have to rewatch it, but I like this song! Soyeon is a talented songwriter, rapper and performer. I remember her off of Unpretty Rapstar and I was looking forward to whatever she was doing next. When LATATA came out, I remember hearing that same, nasally toned voice and cadence! IT was hard to recognize her with makeup and without a ball cap lol Anyways, love the react PD from one trans peep to another.

Seriously you really should listen to their debut EP. Honestly one of the best albums of this year. I know how hard it is to take time to listen to every album that comes out, but I AM is far beyond what I would ever expect from a debut group. Well worth your time.

I think their album is really nice, it's one of the few K-pop albums as of late that has decent replay value for me! My personal fave track off of it is "$$$," I think the album also fits into their brand and sound really well but get to explore a little more of the different levels of it.

I agree with what you said about being enticed by title tracks and then going and listening to their other stuff. That was me entirely with SF9. I always liked them and their title tracks but it wasn't until Now or Never that I fell head-over-heels for them. I went back and listened to all their albums and now I'm a Fantasy so it's amazing what listening to just the title tracks for now can do. Personally, this song had to grow on me a little but now I love it and think its just as good as Latata. I'm excited for what G-Idle has to bring for us in the future! :D

i think you should listen to DOLLAR ($$$) , one of their sidetracks from i am. i also can admit that i rarely listen to side tracks, but after accidentally coming across DOLLAR (thanks youtube autoplay) i fell in love. the song itself is so diverse.

I actually felt that Hann is quite similar to Latata if you were to break the song into sections or elements, such as the woo part being similar to the latata part. If that makes sense, idk. But that at the same time, like you said, it's a good balance of different and similar, which shows more sides of them while maintaining/creating a brand identity (which I remember them saying was an Indian or Middle Eastern inspired concept). Also, like their debut song, I keep finding this one playing in my head! Also thanks for the recent reactions to SF9 and iKON becasue I really can't get enough of either of those songs & mvs. I would like to suggest Imfact's Na Na Na, they've been at the very edge of my radar for a while but I've never really been into their music until this song. I was just rewatching the mv and noticed the camera work etc goes along with the song by sort of drawing things out and then changing tempo (or pitch in the song...is pitch the right word? idk music terminology) which was cool. The whole mv they were like going to somewhere or looking for something but never really seemed to get to it which left me feeling kind of angsty about it but I think it fits the song. I didn't mean to go on for so long about this, uh...

In the title of the song, in the parentheses following "한" I thought they used the Chinese character "一", which is the character for 'one', but then for the English title they used "Alone", which is pretty interesting to me (maybe because two of the members are Chinese speakers?) - also, the group name is just pronounced "아이들"!
