This Hit song of Paul Sapiera released 30 years ago and still hitting the top list of karaoke songs in the Philippines even his gigs in US it still mostly requested!

This song is immortal in videoke machines in the Philippines. Even younger pinoy generations who were not yet born when this song hit the airwaves love to sing this especially in drinking sessions. The guitar chords is one of the best ever. Many versions were also released but the original is still the best. Paul Sapiera's emotion is the soul of this song that's why it is so good to hear like everyone can relate to the feelings.

Mr. Sapiera was the lead vocalist and guitarist of the legendary '90s Rockstar Band. Their songs is still in-demand on karaoke. EZ & his sister Ruth inherited their father's musicality & guitar playing (EZ's metal & Ruth's acoustic). Infact EZ can play multiple instruments. Check out EZ and his sister Ruth's cover of "Perfect" by Ed Sheeran at their step-sister's wedding. Also EZ & his dad duets on a Filipino based in US radio station. 🖌️(i doesn't have popsicle) 😅

Paul Sapiera of Rockstar band was one of my fave vocalists back in the day. mid 90s. He's really great performing live. Very high range. Parting time was an anthem of broken-hearted people back then.

This is my theory why filipinos are good singers. Its the NOISE pollution, its loud everywhere to the point that they have to speak louder in order to communicate, hence their vocal cords and lungs are trained every moment they speak.

Guys, have you reacted to the group: REO Brothers, of the Philippines? If you will, check their cover of Dire Straits' Famous Song: Sultan of Swing, coz you like guitar solo. They are known as the Beatles of the Philippines. They do cover songs other than Beatles, like Bee Gees, Eagles, and other old school great bands.
