I recently did a road test on a set of Brembo SR front pads on the BMW S1000RR. Loved em. They performed fantastic at lower temperatures, they have a progressive feel with braking power increasing the harder the lever is squeezed, great for trail braking .... very impressed even on the BMW S1000RR which has great brakes directly from the factory.

I have a 2020 S1000RR M-Sport, which came with Nissin master cylinder and Hayes calipers. I mainly use the bike for track riding at SMSP and just upgraded the MC to the Brembo 19RCS Corsa Corta. I still have the oem calipers and brake pads but wow, what a massive improvement. The stock brake system was awesome, but now it’s at a whole new level. When the pads need replacing I'll give the Brembo SR a go.

fantastic, I did wonder why they went away from Brembo, was a strange move. You should like the SR pads, its all I use now.

Likewise. I have a 17 s1000r, and threw a set of Bendix pads in at the start for the last COViD lockdown just because it was quick and easy. They are “ok”, not as good as the OEM jobbies. Will throw a set of these SRs in, and see how they go.

@@brianglendenning1632 I’m really curious how they perform in something like a R1250GS I ride my GS very hard in the Scottish highlands. Rarely use for touring. I’m thinking of throwing in my S1000R and GS 😂 can you let me know your thoughts if you manage next season? I’m planning to throw in some in on April.

@@Invis_Space will do - I have a track day planned (subject to COVID, of course) at Sydney Motorsport Park in January. Some nice riding roads up in the Highlands - when we return to visit my wife’s family I will be looking for a quick run up there
