Thanks again Mark, for taking your time to educate us ( that never stop learning ) . You’ve always got something valuable to add to our hobby, and I truly appreciate that.👍
I ordered a bottle last week along with the black undercoat they recommend for this paint. I'm going to use it for a base coat for some emerald green Createx candy 2o. I did a nova with Motolow liquid chrome and Createx candy blue and it turned out really nice. Motolow takes forever to cure and if you touch it the mirror affect is gone. Hopefully this is more durable. Thanks for the video. Now i gotta go binge your videos.
Cool, the William Tell Overture. I like this paint, find it easier to use Vallejo paints (I don't like that paint). I enjoyed the video Kemosabe, Hi Yo Silver! Semper Fortis, Fly Navy.
Very nice.....I'm in the process of doing just this with my Buick GSX .....I was concerned about masking so I sprayed the color around the headlight bezels first. Good to see it's durable.......now get on those race cars fine sir!
That’s the problem with GSW.. no US distributor. I love their products and they have everything you could want for modeling. but the shipping is ridiculous.
Very cool Mark, another chrome paint option in our toolbox. I just tested the Wicked Quicksilver in a video and it looks to a good option as well. Cheers
I've used this on my last few models, great "stuff". The non-airbrush version looks even better IMO. I used their candies and color shift on my 65 Impala box art build. Have many of their other colors too.
PLEASE start your own aftermarket model parts company- not to make a million bucks on, but to turn out some really good, quality parts (any scale -BTW) . The money will be a “by-product “ of passionate perfection- I’m praying for you and yours.
Mark very much enjoyed your review of green stuff liquid chrome had been hearing a lot about it and was very curious as to its performance Thank You for clearing that up gonna check out their site now gotta seen what their color shift is all about
Thanks for watching Mark!! They have a really cool website! I’ll be ordering several things shortly. Look forward to seeing how the Color shift and candy’s do!
Have you also reviewed Revell's "Chrom" chrome spray paint? Literally a liquid chrome effect right out of the can, regardless of type of primer (works just as well on bare plastic too).
Ive just bought a bottle of the airbrush chrome paint and it looks good but when i tried to polish my model car this paint just wipes right off, any ideas , how durable do others find this paint?
I use Alclad II and AK and haven’t encountered that issue but I usually don’t polish the chrome just the paint. I know you can rub some brands off (including Alclad) if they are not fully cured.
ive been trying it on margame miniature and find it loose its sheen if you handle it so i need to find a top coat that wont ruin it, any ideas? everything ive tried so far dulls it
