Always love these videos of you spending your day productive. They are always so peaceful and calm. I only have a list as a braindump. I always write everything down and everyday I look at what is really needed to be done and what I like to do.
Hi Ashlynne, I love watching your videos! I just wanted to let you know you should NOT eat soft cheese while pregnant - especially the mould-ripened kind (brie, camembert, fetta, mozzarella, etc). They could contain listeria and can cause listeriosis. You may want to reach out to your doctor to verify. Thanks for sharing such great content! 😃
Hey!! So I actually asked my OB/GYN about this when I first found out I was pregnant, and they told me that so long as the soft cheese I consume is pasteurized it’s totally fine. So I do double check for the pasteurization, but for the most part, all soft cheese in the US is pasteurized and okay to eat. And I’ve had that confirmed by multiple OB/GYN’s since as well 🤍
I need to do a bit of a whole house reset, but I don’t want to spend all day. Thinking of setting myself a timer and just doing all that I can in an hour or so and hope that’s enough! 😅
I love your videos! So cozy and inspiring! :) Just a quick note - charcuteries, some cheeses and some fish (if not prepared correctly) are not good to eat during pregnancy so just please consult your doctor or do some googeling to read up on which ones to stay clear of during this time :) In sweden we at least have an extensive list of foods to stay away from during pregnancy, but this can of course vary from country to country.
Hi Ashlynne. What a lovely video. I wonder what book you are reading at the beginning of the video? Your video's are so relaxing. Love your morning and eveningroutines. ❤
I love watching your "Day in my life" videos, they always motivate me to be more productive. Thank you for sharing your life and positivity!🤗 Sending love from Croatia! God bless you!❤
Congratulations on your pregnancy, Ashlynne!! So excited for you and Christopher ❤ Just a heads up, it’s safest to not eat soft cheeses or deli meats while pregnant 😊 (I’m a dietitian who used to work with pregnant women and I was recently pregnant myself, so all the pregnancy-related food safety stuff is fresh in my memory 😊)
Yeah, I was advised to stay away from both soft cheeses and cold cuts during pregnancy. I missed them sooo much. First day home after giving birth, I had a plate full of both with crackers an fruit. 😊
@@spirituallysafebecause if they have listeria it can cause miscarriage, rather than just an illness if you’re not pregnant. There’s currently a recall of some soft cheeses due to listeria.
Thanks for sharing! I’ve talked with my OB/GYN specifically about that, and she has told me that where I live they are perfectly fine for me to eat while pregnant (because I had heard that as well). And that’s been confirmed for me multiple times by other OBGYN’s in my area. But appreciate you sharing. I think it’s always good to consult a doctor when it comes to what you can/cannot eat when pregnant. 🤍🤍
Just curious, with the soft cheeses, did your ob say you could eat those? I was told no so id love to eat soft cheese if there’s some differing opinions, id like to look into that.
Hi Ashlynne, another great video, thank you for sharing your day with us. I find your content so refreshing. Like someone else in the comments I was wondering what the name of the book you were reading at the start of the video and would you recommend it ❤
Yes! Thank you! I needed a reminder to wash our sheets 😅 I usually just save some of the brown paper we get in packages and use that for wrapping gifts. Makes it easy to tailor to any occasion.
I finally unstitched both sides and resewed one side of a pillow case I knitted but needed to finish up while watching the video, it wasn’t so daunting doing it with someone else completing tasks! Always excited to watch your videos Ashlynne. Hope the bump is treating you well!!
If you like prosciutto and the soft goats cheese (with or without the honey)… then please try to make rolls out of both of them. Put some goats cheese on the prosciutto and roll that up. It’s THE BEST! 😋 Or even have toast with the goats cheese and prosciutto, great lunch 😊
I'm really enjoyed this video, and thanks for sharing this idea. It encourages me seeing a day in the life and a reminder of our own day in the life. I got grocery shopping and outdoor jobs done ❤
