I can identify with everything you said in this video. It took me 2 years to learn my hair. I’m high porosity and my moisture cycle is 2 days so I have to moisturize my hair every morning. I use fenugreek tea / Aloe Vera juice and seal with a castor/grape seed oil mixture. I do a search and destroy monthly for my knots and split ends-fun to hunt them and snip them. I start each day with warm water, lemon juice and chia seeds. My hair is striving so thank you 😊

I was just thinking about using tea! My question is because your hair needs constant hydration, how do you keep your hair from staying wet once you moisturize?

After so many years of experiencing dry hair, I finally learned that my hair requires the use of steam to deep condition. Low porosity hair require the use of a steamer for deep conditioning. I maybe wrong but I have finally figured what keeps my hair moisturized for days.

Wow... This is literally the most helpful hair video I ever watched. For me I just assumed that after doing all I can to seal in the moisture in my hair the night before, then it drying out completely the next morning, that my hair just didn't like water and just needs to be dry and brushed out to style. I never knew that it was normal for the moisture not to last. But even with these tips I hope my hair can stop shriveling up just because the moistures gone. I'll try it . Thankyou!😊😊❤❤❤

I love spring water, but I draw the line at sparkling water. That water is angry for no reason lol just attacking my poor tastebuds

Water is drying it out. After shampoo, let hair dry 90%, then add your creams.

Hello, great information. I wash my hair using diluted African Black soap. Sometimes, I add oils, aloe vera or glycerin (not much), to make it a bit moisturizing. However, there are times when I only use ABS. What are your thoughts on using ABS as either a clarifying/moisturizing shampoo?

Thank you for sharing, I have question i used water , olive oil then shea butter for my loc method, my hair is very dry low porosity, my hair getting drier and drier can you advise me anything please , any other kind of oil
@ObaaYaaJones
@ObaaYaaJones 3 года назад
Perhaps you have to add an actual leave in before the oil and butter. Or try different oils and butters. It could also be some of the other things I mentioned in the video. Best thing to do is go through each reason and eventually you will get to the root cause.
@naturalwoman8315
@naturalwoman8315 3 года назад
Try clarifying your hair on your next wash day. There may be product build up blocking the water from penetrating your hair strands. God bless you.
@chanteadams4826
@chanteadams4826 3 года назад
Olive oil and Shea are very very heavy butters. Putting shea butter on creates a barrier, not allowing anything else to penetrate through your hair strands. Olive oil and Shea butter can make our low porosity hair hard and feel dry because if too much is used it sits on top of the hair versus penetrating through. Try your L as warm water and a light leave in such as knot today or anything with slip and not a lot of oils and butters.

Fortified with what?
@gracief3242
@gracief3242 2 года назад
A fortifying shampoo is specially designed to strengthen your hair follicles and contains vitamins, proteins, and other supplements that your hair needs. You use it in addition to your regular shampoo, and it cleans, adds moisture, and makes your hair soft and manageable.

Just because you don't use it doesn't mean that others don't use it. I know plenty of Americans who use the term "out of whack" to describe an imbalance.
