The ha-ha-happily line, is an example of how to take a disability (Bob actually does have a slight stutter) into an ability! I'm sure he was teased often as a kid, but has turned that into an integral part of his comedic talent!
He was actually a neighbor of ours in Chicago when I was a little kid. Lived in the apartment building next-door to us. I used to visit his mother all the time. She was a sweetheart
When asked about his stutter he replied that it was a stammer and did the reporter know the difference. He would then go on to say the answer which was, “a house in Belair”.
What's kinda sad is that the original voice actor for porky pig actually did have a stutter and they had to let him go because he could never finish his lines

I wouldn't consider it perverted. Even in the show, the character finds Penny attractive. If a lonely, older guy can find a young girl who will date him, then good for him. The only one likely to be hurt by it is the guy, if she manipulates him terribly.

@@litigioussociety4249 if the "Girl" in question is young enough, there is an obvious power dynamic given life experiences. Can the girl manipulate him cause he's old & doesnt have as many choices? Sure. But she is in far more danger because given his experience with life, he can coerce her into doing a bunch of things that are not good for her wellbeing. It might be legal, but its still frowned upon for a reason. Not to mention most people turn into jealous idiots when there's a difference in SMVs between them and their partner. It happens to men too, but women are in more danger from a man, statistically speaking...
In the bloopers, he's hella funny too. There's this scene where Sheldon asked him where he's going and he stand up and accidentally dropped a gun, instead of laughing, he said "idk, i just dropped my gun" 😂😂

It really says something that Bill Nye got a restraining order against Sheldon, while Arthur didn't. Maybe he's just so miserable all the time, he doesn't see the point even filing one.
@@tomtonka1915 in his defence, he probably did thank him in his long tiresome speech papers. But as it turned out he didn't read them. He didn't thank a lot of people he should have except for the closest ones which were those 6 people he did.
You know what, you can't blame the guy, he could creepily hit on Penny, but he has more respect, he asked politely if she had any single grandmothers, and when she said no he just asked if they were happy, because, I mean, if they're not the have a choice. Besides, it's not like they have to worry about staying together for the kids. Overall, not the creepiest guy.
As with many other scenes in other episodes, this clearly shows how mentally immature Sheldon is. He's nearly 40 and gushing over his childhood TV hero like he was still 9.
I had 2 grandmothers, but one of them died, so I'm left with 2 grandfathers and 1 grandmother. Anyway, I think Professor Proton likes Penny and if Penny did have a single grandmother, then I think it would be too late for her to set him up with her grandmother. I mean, think about it. A wedding of an elderly couple? That will be just weird. I know that Professor Proton is divorced and is really looking for another woman to make him happy.
