Title: Hypergraph Mining: Patterns, Tools, and Generators

Abstract: Hypergraphs are a natural and powerful choice for modeling dyadic and polyadic group interactions in the real world. The mathematical complexity of hypergraphs provides both opportunities and challenges for their analysis. In this talk, I will give an overview of the current landscape of patterns, tools, and generators on and for hypergraphs. I will provide comprehensive taxonomies and list some future research directions. This work is a collaboration with Geon Lee, Fanchen Bu, and Kijung Shin; its paper is at arxiv.org/abs/....
