I totally agree with you when you said WayV is not like the other boyband, when the other boybands sticks to their flower boy, party-esque vibes, this NCT sub-unit is already experimenting with the new type of songs and dance I never experienced before. But the swag feels really sells me off everything feels so expensive and luxury from them.

TEN deserves to be called the best SM dancer. Moonwalk was created a few months after the group's debut, and I think they did very well. Xiaojun only trained 6 months, today he is one of the best perfomers.

I followed WayV ever since Take Off but still didn't know all their names. At first only Lucas stuck out, then with Moonwalk Xiaojun stole my heart (still has it lmao) and when I watched their dance practices I was just gaping at Ten. He's an insane dancer wow.

I love the opening of this song, I don't know anything about the technical side of dancing but I really love how Kun also goes up on his toes and his ending pose it makes the entire opening seem so graceful and flowy and reminds me of a ballerina which is not something I think of often in boy group choreos

I love how you specifically pointed out how it flows and how smooth some of their moves are. The way they incorporate Winwin's traditional Chinese dance training in WayV dances is minimal, but it's beautiful to see.

NCT sub unit with members who all seem to be main dancers

Because WayV (which stands for We Are Your Vision) is the Mandarin Chinese sub-unit of NCT, NCT's whole dream concept is also part of WayV's storyline and concept. As with everything NCT does, it all has to do with dreams, dreaming or something to do with being in a dream state. Some fans who are into SM group theories have also speculated that NCT's storyline also connects to EXO's storyline. I think that SM Entertainment may have even set it up so that, at least all of their third generation groups -- and now maybe even fourth gen. groups, with the introduction of SM's new girl group aespa, who has an Avatar concept -- have storylines that connect, link together and intertwine. To understand how they all connect, you first need to know that EXO's concept is that they are aliens from Planet EXO who have been sent to Earth on a mission to find and protect the Tree of Life from the Red Force, while also trying to fix all the things that are going wrong in the world, which are believed to be caused by the Red Force. The Red Force is thought to be here on Earth inflicting their evil agenda -- corrupting humanity and causing all the bad things that are happening in the world, such as war, hate and destruction of the environment, etc. And because EXO is trying to undo and prevent the Red Force from accomplishing their goals, the Red Force is also trying to take down EXO by capturing them, corrupting them and standing in their way, etc. As part of EXO's storyline, Baekhyun and Kai -- who are members of EXO -- have recruited members from SM Entertainment's other male Kpop groups -- Taemin from SHINee, Taeyong and Mark from NCT and Ten and Lucas from WayV -- and formed an Avengers-like supergroup, known as SuperM, to help them battle the Red Force. With the creation of SuperM, I think that was SM's first indication that from now on we need to pay attention, because all of its groups' MVs are somehow connected. If the SuperM Avengers are coming together to help EXO stop the Red Force, I think the members who are part of SuperM are the liaisons who are helping to connect all the groups -- EXO, Taemin/SHINee, NCT/WayV -- together. For example, right after SuperM released their "Jopping" MV, WayV came out with "Moonwalk," and I think "Moonwalk" is pretty much a continuation or another part of "Jopping's" storyline. I also think WayV's next MVs for their songs "Turn Back Time" and "Kick Back" are also part of that story. With NCT's dream concept, they could very easily connect to EXO's other world and other dimension theories. I even see parts of the story in "Moonwalk" that could be connected to SuperM's "100" and "One (Monster & Infinity)" MVs. For example, we also see SuperM in a spaceship or space capsule or on a space station in "100," which I think is connected to the space theme in "Moonwalk." You also see Ten -- the member with the solo dance break in the "Moonwalk" MV and the one in the center during the "less typical" parts of their choreography in the dance practice video, who is WayV's main dancer -- become weightless as he floats inside what looks like a space capsule, etc. It doesn't look like WayV are on Earth in "Moonwalk," or at least not a version of Earth that we are familiar with. I think WayV may be either in a dream universe or in another time and place in the future, which I think is connected to the theory that EXO is traveling between time periods and alternate realities in their search for the Tree of Life and quest to stop the Red Force, etc. The "desert" scenes are showing them on another planet or futuristic world. You also missed one final scene that shows you a different view of the buildings WayV are in. There is one more scene at the very end of the video, after the end title. If you notice, Ten and Lucas -- the tall rapper with the bucket hat who in the center during the moonwalk section -- seem to have a pivotal role in the storyline in "Moonwalk." So, I think what might be happening in the story is Ten and Lucas, as members of SuperM, are coming to gather the other members of WayV to bring them into the fight. I also think the apocalyptic scenes you see happening in "Moonwalk," are connected to the fact that at the end of EXO's "Obsession" MV we see the world on fire as the EXO members are fighting their alter ego clones X-EXO, which were created by the Red Force. So on that note, I think in order to understand SM Entertainment's whole Universe storyline, people need to pay attention to all of the storylines with all of SM's groups, because I think at least all of SM's third generation groups' MVs and storylines are being designed to connect stories and plots. Each group has their own individual storyline and concept, but when you put them all together there are threads of connections between the groups. And that includes EXO, Red Velvet, NCT/WayV, aespa and maybe even Taemin's solo work, and possibly even SHINee. Even though SHINee are a second generation group, the members actually fit within the age range of third generation groups, so they sort of bridge that gap between 2nd and 3rd gen. As you can see, with everything SM does, it's all one giant mystery that has been designed for fans to decode and unravel. However, no one really knows for sure what is happening in the story. SM has never confirmed nor denied any of our theories and they have left it all up to us to figure out. As you can see, there are well known theories and storylines that we think might explain what is happening in each MV. And there are theories about how each MV is connected and where each falls within the larger storyline. But nothing is set in stone. What makes it even more difficult, is the fact that the story isn't necessarily in chronological order. With every new MV that SM releases it tells another part of the story, however, because it's not always in order, sometimes that new piece helps to confirm our theories and other times it throws us all for a loop and makes us rethink everything. We can only hope that someday SM will come out with a movie or publish a book that explains the story, so we can see whether any of our theories are correct.
