God bless his soul bro, whenever theres amazing magic video i always show it to my dad,and we both will be talk about it in awe,now he is gone to heaven, i miss him a lot, i loss a friend
I don't remember everything. I was like 10 or 11, my dad was an amateur magician and loved magic since he was little so the chance to go to a show like that was awesome for him.
@@casperremixx8931 you think they were in on it? dude there's pickpockets all over the world who are just as good as this guy. they don't need them to be in on it.
Far left guy is a plant working with him, so it's not surprising he had most of the attention. You can tell because of the big finish where he pulls the shirt off - impossible unless it was a special shirt with break-away sleeves. Some or all of the other guys are also likely working with him too.
How did he get his shirt? I think the underwear was a truck and they weren't off unless it's a different type I don't know they can't be off. But how did he take his shirt off😂
I had my watch nicked by a really friendly, well-dressed young lad who was asking me and my wife directions. I thought I'd lost it. It was years later, watching one of these stage pickpockets on RU-vid and their dizzying hand movements, including touching a guy's jacket lapels while taking off his watch, that I recognized the exact techniques and mannerisms that had been used on me. I was very impressed with the lad 🤣
The most impressive thing about it is thr people are aware that he wants to rob something from them, so they are vigilant, but yet he managed to take almost everything from them, even underwear
They weren’t really trying to stop him though. If they really wanted to they could have stopped him by just not letting him stand near them but they were going along with the performance. I feel like they noticed a couple times but just didn’t say anything like when he took the suspenders.
i remember meeting this guy. it was back in 2011. i lost my watch and my phone that day and he was nice enough to give me a handshake and a hug to cheer me up
Well it's all a magic trick with the "underpants" and the guy on the left's shirt lol. It's not always just masterful pickpocketing, it's also great illusions.
@Claire Chen Just to be clear some of the stuff as mentioned above, is a magic trick. Obviously those are not his underwear. Did you notice how the one guy was a little protective (in the audience), and he moved on very quickly, but made a comment to use him as a disguise as he did other things. The formula is, charisma, showmanship , good sleight of hand skills, combined with good people reading skills. I don't know how many people are in the audience, but you don't think in a crowd of 500, at an official show you can find four men who are more trusting than they should be, and are overconfident and convinced they won't be conned, but are sure if they are they'll get their stuff back?
As people have pointed out, that guy specifically is probably a plant since he was wearing a shirt that can be removed without taking the arms out of the sleeves. But I also imagine that even if he stole the glasses off someone who wasn’t a plant, they might react the same way. I would probably just smile and appreciate how smoothly he did it.
dude imagine being a real theif in a bar and talking to a bunch of buzzed or drunk guys thinking your just making friends but you have this guy's skills?
Magic & comedy together in 1 very entertaining act! & having the audience involved throughout! This guy is awesome, I would have loved to have seen him sometime! Great show
Wow this guy is amazing talented. I’ve heard of him before but just discovered his full show! Very distracting man but his hands are on the move all the time!
Michael82Much, you and your channel are definitely a RU-vid wonder Sir! Only 10 videos over 15 years, 3.7 million likes just on this video and only 683 dislikes!! 👏👏👏
The underwear is obviously an added stage trick, not the real person's underwear. The only thing is the white shirt, the person must have been a plant, as there's no way to pull the shirt off without taking it off your arms first.
@@scape. someone commented that suspender guy was their dad, but I wouldn’t put it passed magicians to have plants in RU-vid comment sections 30 years later.
the real comedy is how everyone left that show without their wallets and purses. man committed the greatest heist of the century and everyone shrugged it off as an act.
Only the shirt guy was planted, the rest were legit. The underpants trick was done when he tied the scarves together. He must have balled up underware in between before he tucked them in the pants.
He didnt steal the guys underwear. He tied the two scarves together, then after tucking them in the guys pants he rapidly untied them and slipped in a pair he had smuggled up his sleeve. The guy wouldn't have needed to be in on it, since most people would be genuinely surprised and confused as to what just happened
Haha, I thought his accent didn't sound Swiss. But yeah, being Swiss myself I know the struggle. Maybe I should start calling the USA the Ukraine, because it sounds kinda similar.
...or an illusion. I thought it was sus, too. However another person, in the comments, pointed that out... Unbutton the shirt, sly-like. Slight-of-hand a prop white shirt behind the guy's neck. Then as you reveal the shirt, grab the back of the shirt being worn to hide its visible parts behind the suit-jacket. Skill, practice and confidence to have the balls to pull that off in front of so many is 100/100
@@RazaXML I do not know for sure that it was or was not staged. However, it could be done either way. That was sort of the point. Everything with the pickpocketing until the shirt and underwear are part of acts of street magicians around the world - at least a couple I've seen in Vegas and Wroclaw, PL. I've even gotten to participate (be the "target", selected truly at random) in some of the acts. I have even seen the fake stealing of underwear before. Never seen the shirt. I think the trick would be harder to pull off in today's culture, seeing how not as many men go out with white collared shirts and blazers
@@RazaXML so you're saying that the trick is impossible to do genuinely by slight of hand. Got it. You could just say that. Because I'm not going to bow down and say, "yessir RazaXML, you obviously know everything that you don't have proof of knowing. Sorry for my opinion and thank you for your genius know-it-all self sharing the knowledge you were born with"
He can't. You also can't do the shirt trick if the subject has his arms through the sleeves. That means the first guy was a stooge. The rest are probably legit though.
@@TRDiscordian Underpants is a prepped trick. When he knots the scarves and tucks them in a pair of underpants is balled up with them. It's a fairly common trick among kids magicians and he must have had it ready expecting it's a common audience request.
@@notme222 Ah so the dude just went along with it, pretending his underpants were taken? That's mostly what I based my conclusion off of, that I figured an audience member wouldn't go along with it, but thanks for changing my mind. Really fun to watch whatever the case :).
So much touching and dizzy making... Just run if you get that... He always controls your attention to somewhere by fumbling or brushing you and Steals your stuff with the other hand. That guy just resigned and was overwhelmed.
I wear glasses and I think you can have the same kind of brain fart that makes you think you lost your glasses when they're really sittin on top of your head. Plus I am a magician and I know that my hands can move quicker than your mind can react. Your mind has to realize that you're not seeing properly.
I bet he's the only person in the world that could steal from someone and get away with it. Imagine a guy reporting him to the police... "He stole my watch!" "Of course he did! He's a thief magician, what did you expect? duh..."
